Easy Glide Bamboo Window Treatments And Optional Liners

Bought the insulating liner and blackout liners for a set of 3 bamboo panels. The liners connect by Velcro fasteners on the panels. Haven't tried the blackout liner but none of the insulating liners fit the panels without forcing a curl in the panel. The liners are too narrow and too short so attaching them causes the panel to deform and look odd.

Just what I ordered it's a definite must if you need privacy especially at night

I purchased this product for a bedroom located in the front of the house. Because I wanted to focus on the astheticly pleasing look of the bamboo from the outside I didnt purchase the privacy liner available. Inside, it filters the light just enough and still lets you see outside. Downside is, anyone can see inside pretty darn well at night, but I expected that.You'd need to add a layer of curtian inside to provide any privacy inside at night.

If you purchase you should wash blinds with Murphys oil soap & water to get rid of smell,also wash liners from being shipped. Also purchase blackout liners to keep in heat & blackout if in bedroom. Cons- smell from being shipped and dusty. If you wash give about a week for smell to go away!

Items received as advertised. They are hung at dining room patio doors in an open area with kitchen and living room; They are perfect with existing window treatments.

I'm very happy with these bamboo drapes. I close them on hot days to filer the sun and it really makes for a beautiful setting as I can still see the trees and landscaping outside. That said, these offer no privacy to use at night. With a light on inside the house, you can see right through them from the outside. Also, these are heavier than some curtains so if you keep them at one end of the drapery rod as I do, be certain the other end is securely screwed into the rod holder or it will tilt out of the holder. I'm using them for two sets of sliding glass doors and one set of large windows in my living area. If the weave were a little more dense, I think it would afford some privacy at night. I did purchase the blackout liners for one set of panels that gets more intense sun and they work well, but I still prefer a bit of the open weave look more than the completely dark look with the liners.

I bought the Easy Glide Bamboo Tiers for the windows in my home office. Well-made and durable, these tiers fold into neat and tight pleats when you push them aside. Even when closed, the construction allows a pleasing amount of daylight and a veiled view of the outdoors. These tiers ensure the privacy of my office at night, and leave the top portion of the windows free for an unobstructed view. Plus - they're environmentally friendly! Very pleased.

I bought three of the long panels to cover a large two-sided walk-in closet opening that did not have doors on it when I moved in. I hang them on a long rod and it looks neat when closed, and is easy for me to access either side of the closet. These panels are VERY lightweight, unlike the others that I bought at first, which were grommets at the top, making them unwieldy to move aside when opening. These move quite easily and look VERY nice. Perfect solution for my problem.

These bamboo shades are just as they appear. Color is accurate, they are very nice quality, the material for the trim is well sewn and looks nice. The do allow some light in however, and if you stand close, you can see into the room from the outside, so they don't offer complete privacy without the liner, but good enough to shade a room and give a general sense of privacy. I really like how when open, they fold pretty flat, so they don't take up much room at all. Much better than the vertical blinds they replaced. I have no idea what the other reviewer is referring to however with the mention of "end caps" and "finials not necessary..." These are shade panels, there is no rod included. Also, remember to get TWO, the price is per panel.

These panels are a great value compared to custom shades, and look very nice. They are not completely private, so use in a room where complete privacy is not needed is good. They are easy to install, and with the end caps that come with them, you don't even need to add finials - unless you want to. I am looking to add the insulating liners as soon as they are available
