        Comments about Plowhearth Draft Stopper:

This item is great for blocking the cold air coming up from the basement. I was disappointed though that the item did not come as easily adjustable as the product our family bought a few years ago. There was no velcro adjustable opening where you cut the cylinders to fit the doorway and then pull the velcro down to cover the cylinders. Will have to open the seam and add velcro.

        Comments about Plowhearth Draft Stopper:

I have 3 of these that are used under bedroom doors that I don't heat in winter. we have electric heat and they prevent heat loss into those rooms. very easy to cut to fit. covers are washable. mine have velcro tab to close the tubes off; the velcroed end slides under first so that end is closest to the hinged side of the door. door opens and closes with no obstruction at all; not like pushing folded towels or rugs up against the door. highly recommend. I have found no down side.

        Should come in different sizes

        Comments about Plowhearth Draft Stopper:

The Draft stopper is under my main entrance door which had a very bad draft.Very convenient because it stays in place when I leave my home.
I had to cut this down to 32" and the tube on the outside had to be a little shorter for the door to close.

When it is raining and you track in moisture this thing binds and drags on the floor and makes it near impossible to shut or open the door. Very aggrevating.

It helps for more that just 'drafts'!

        Comments about Plowhearth Draft Stopper:

We have used them in several area's and it is good that they are adjustable to different width doors! Mice can be an issue in our mountain home. These fit under the interior doors and helps to keep them out of rooms until they are caught with a trap! We use them all the time--what a blessing because I HATE MICE! :) Happy in Colorado

These are great with one drawback

        By Carrie

        from Seattle

        Pros

        • They work

        Cons

        • Must cut to adjust size
        • Sleeve is sewn shut
        • Too long for most doors

        Best Uses

          Comments about Plowhearth Draft Stopper:

I've purchased this item before and it had openings for removing the foam so that it could be cut to fit the door and then reinserted into the sleeve. The size, 36", is longer than a standard door is wide, so cutting is inevitable for most doors.
