I chose this design because it resembles my dog. I put it in a flower bed away from seating and we could not see the movement, so I moved it right next to the patio. The stake is neither long nor strong enough. I had to purchase a supplemental stake to hold it up. The two-sided design is nice. I cannot recommend a whirligig like this unless you are willing to make the accommodations I did.
