I gifted these to a mother who never likes what she finds for her feet and -- ta, da! -- they were a big hit. I tried them on before the gift giving so I know how great they look & feel. But the proof has come over the months since Christmas of her wearing them regularly and mentioning to me, unprompted, how much she likes them. They keep her feet warm, but not too hot; they are solid enough for wearing around the house, but not too stiff; they are soft enough for comfort, but not too squishy. You get the idea? It's like gifting Baby Bear. Needless to say, I'm so happy I gave these a try. The dachshund reference was also an excellent bonus since she loves her little hot dog.
