Decorative Terra Cotta Pumpkin Lanterns

I bought the smaller round pumpkin--a lovely dark red with a carved face resembling a traditional maniacal Jack-O-Lantern grin. He is heavy (so no risk of wind moving him) and was most handsome when lighted with an electric candle, all the effect without having to carve or dispose of a real pumpkin. After one Halloween, I am very pleased with this purchase. As a note, unlike as mentioned with the larger pumpkin, the smaller one cannot be reversed to serve as a non-Halloween pumpkin decoration since lighting is inserted via a hole on the back side rather than from the bottom.

My pumpkin is sitting on the hearth next to a Thanksgiving wreath. Now that Halloween has passed, I've turned it around to look like a pumpkin rather than a jack-o-lantern. It's very well made, sturdy and the colors are beautiful. I purchased the large version.

I don't have to carve a pumpkin anymore! Lovely addition to my front porch next to the Plow and Hearth bench I bought this summer! The picture makes it look larger than it is, but overall it's wonderfully unique. After Halloween I can turn it around and have the back side facing out so than I can display it all the way up to Thanksgiving!
