So far I am pleased with the quality of the rack. I hope that it stands up to weather and time because it is outside in an unsheltered location. The medium rack holds less wood than I was expecting but the size is good for the location. The cover has velcro closures and we will see how those last with snow, rain, wood and dirt getting on them. One post bottom plug was broken off upon delivery but I glued it back in place and can't imagine that it will be an issue now that the rack is in use. I got this on sale and am please with the price, appearance and function. We'll see what I think in a year.

We chose these after reading all the reviews & were very pleased with the selection. We like the look, & love the well fitting cover which makes keeping the wood dry, easily accessible, AND not an eyesore helps to make dealing with the woodpile almost a pleasure.

So far so good. We haven't yet loaded it with wood to see what the capacity is. And we haven't yet seen how it withstands wear & tear season to season, but so far so good. It looks handsome on our covered back porch area. We heeded other references to rust, and plan to add a coat of paint in Spring. But it was very easy to assemble, and not difficult to move into position. I'd recommend it.

This is an excellent item. I have three of the little ones - one on each side of my big, handsome wood stove that is used to heat my country house. And one out on the front porch.
I've had them for several years and they've withstood heavy use throughout the winter months. We heat the whole house with the big wood stove in the living room and every day there's a new load of wood brought in for the stove and these sturdy, little babies do a beautiful job holding the wood and looking great in the living room. Can't ask for more than that!

The sturdy and attactive tubular steel design makes it the perfect intermediate size rack for a deck. I've had it for about three years and it still looks great eventhough I have done nothing to maintain it. The only issue I have is that connecting hardware (bolts) have completely rusted and will need to be replaced. Use of stainless steel bolts by the manufacturer would make this a better product. Suggest buyers replace bolts before they rust with those made of stainless steel to avoid having to cut the rusty bolts off later.

This medium decorative wood rack was just what we hoped for. It is solid and sits squarely. We were able to assemble it quickly, in our living room. It didn't have any parts that were unaligned leading to difficulty in placing screws. The steel is smooth and the color integrated. Nicely, it has rubber feet so it neither scratched the floor of the living room nor the painted porch. Although our logs are not all the same size, the rack was just deep enough to hold the shorter ones, making for a tall and solid pile. The design is attractive, just as pictured, making for a nice addition next to the front door.

This product was nothing special. Average sturdiness. Unfortunately, it was defective and one of the iron bars had a gash out of it. Customer service was professional about sending us a replacement piece. This piece did not meet our expectations.

We bring wood in during the winter for our wood stove and have been just stacking it on the floor against the wall in our basement. We purchased and put two of these (one on each side of our door) for keeping our wood neat and tidy while allowing us to clean-up the wood crumbs underneath the pile. They work and look great!

Perfect fit, I love it. It was easy to assemble and it was just right for keeping firewood for the evening. We cut a piece of wood to fit the bottom so it would catch some of the bark and wood scrapes that come with firewood. It would be nice if it came with a tray to fit under it.

We bought two of the small firewood racks. One is inside our vacation cabin and is attractive, holds enough for 2-3 fires. Second one is on the deck at home for use with the fire pit. Looks nice and seems very durable.

living on Long Island NY...and fighting the high cost of oil...we had installed a high efficiency wood burning stove to help keep costs down...i currently own 4 racks...in process of ordering 2 more. these racks are scattered nicely throughout our yard. they serve an obvious purpose, and look nice...very slight rusting is visable, but moving forward i will apply an additional protective coating before using again for the new season...no problem. great product!

I was very excited when I opened the box for the Small Decorative Heavy-Duty Steel Wood Rack. As I began putting it together, I noticed the whole plug on one of the legs was blocking the hole to connect my supports...as I pulled the plug out - it came apart. Ok, I'll notify Plow & Hearth to get another one. Then after putting it completely together I noticed it was not "square" on the corners. One of the crossbars is considerably shorter than the other. This is the 2nd item I ordered from Plow & Hearth this year, and the 2nd item I probably should return. I will reconsider buying from Plow & Hearth in the future.

My husband and I needed something to hold our firewood for the season. Our firewood rack arrived very quickly, and it was extremely easy to put together. Very sturdy, keeps the wood off of the ground, and the cover we purchased was very well made. Don't know how we got along without it before!

Wish the cover were still available. I had to postpone ordering because I was going out of town. When I returned, the cover was out of stock and now I see it's not even offered. Oh, well, never had our wood covered before. This is a wonderful rack and adds to the ambiance of my small patio. Elevating the wood stack helps keep things clean! Assembly without another person was a bit tricky, but I got it done!
