Comments about Product: This is a fantastic addition to any garden or porch. It's cute and fun to look at. We have alot of squirrels in our yard and it's cute to see on laying on a hammock just chillin.
Comments about Product: I LOVE the fox! I get lots of compliments on him because he's so cute, I have him hanging from the ceiling in my sunroom and he looks great! I wish Plow and Hearth would bring the Bear back, I would buy him too!
Comments about Product: I can't say enough about this adorable fox! This was a gift given to me by my friend to help ease the pain of sending my oldest son off to college. His college mascot is a red fox and, naturally, I have taken to collecting all things fox. So well made with wonderful attention to detail - I have it hanging in my kitchen! This gift prompted me to visit a Plow and Hearth store near me. I spied an adorable fox garden sculpture and had to have it as well!
Comments about Product: We have this draped from one hook on the top end of an old-fashioned porch swing to another nearby hook on a hanging plant. The little squirrel in his hammock drapes in front of a huge standing fern into the hearty flowering plant. It looks like he found a place to take a rest from his busy day of climbing trees. I purchased two of these, intending to give other to my married daughter. The one I kept for our deck has a couple paint mistakes on his face, but once hung, it's not as noticeable. I hope my daughter/her family enjoy their little "guy" as much as we do.
Comments about Product: LOVE the cute slumbering animals; I purchased the dog after looking at him for months. It is larger than expected (a good thing), very detailed and great quality. A really nice accent to a patio or porch; sure to make you smile!
Comments about Product: This little squirrel looks so adorable hanging in our tree in front of our house. He looks so relaxed sleeping in his hammock. I only wish we had more trees to be able to hang all three. Expertly packaged, came within a few days after ordering product.
Comments about Product: This little squirrel is so whimsical.....it just makes you smile. We are taking it to our vacation home in Wisconsin and hope the real squirrels aren 't jealous of this lazy little guy. I was impressed with the workmanship.
Comments about Product: So cute. Hung it from the pine tree in the yard. He hangs and swings lazily as the wind blows. Not sure about the tiny eyehooks attached to the strings. They seem a bit to small to be strong, but time will tell. Well worth it at this price! Want to get all three.
Comments about Product: This day dreaming doggie is adorable! He is true to size, but I do wish he was a little bigger; however, everyone who sees it thinks it's adorable...and it is! Hangs in a tree, and the hoooks are just right for hanging either from one hanger or two. We used 2 branches, and it looks like he's taking a snooze in the hammock in the tree.
Comments about Product: I ordered this for my niece for her to hang in her yard; I haven't given it to her yet, but I think she and her little boys will be enchanted! I had half a notion to keep it for myself!
Comments about Product: We were able to write her name and year on it. Her stuffed animal Roxy is a fox. She was trilled to find it hanging out the window where she could see it. It really looks carved.
Comments about Product: I ordered the fox since foxes are near and dear to me, as I used to care for them in a volunteer job. Just as cute as the picture depicts. The fox resides in a bush in our backyard so that I can see him from our living room and family room. The hanger is a plus. Would like to have ordered the bear as well but it has been discontinued.
Comments about Product: I bought this little guy to hang from a branch in my front yard and he is the perfect size for a young tree. Very nice quality and good colors. Also, very nice details on the product. Looking forward to purchasing another one.
Comments about Product: This little squirrel dreaming of an acorn is so cute! There are two hooks on the ends of the twine attached to the hammock, for lots of hanging options. It seems well-made and nicely painted.
Comments about Product: I purchased the little squirrel and he brings so much enjoyment to everyone walking down our sidewalk who catch a glimpse of him hanging from the lower branches of our maple tree.So cute and well made to endure rain and sun exposure beautifully. Definately recommend this product !!!
Comments about Product: This is really a cute and well made product. I really didn't have a handy place to hang it so I bought a banana hanger and it works really well and makes a great indoor decoration. I have the puppy one.
Comments about Product: I bought the squirrel and bear and couldn't wait to receive them. I hung them both in my backyard and they are adorable! They come with hooks and ropes on either end, which make hanging easy. Love them!
Comments about Product: I have it hanging on my deck on one side of a pole. Have just ordered the swinging, sleeping dog. Have gotten some good comments regarding the quality of the bear. Am anxious to see them both side by side.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
