    I am happy with the overall look and quality. It is a perfect size and mattress height for our needs. Be sure to measure trundle depth before purchasing a mattress. The trundle front support that connects to the sides was structurally insufficient. We added extra screws and wood glue to ensure that the stress of pulling the trundle unit out from under the daybed would not eventually cause that connection to fail. I thought that wood plugs to cover the bolt holes on the exposed sides should have been included, but was able to buy them at a hardware store.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
