we are very pleased with our dancing bears steamer and trivet. it is handsome and heavy; it is serving its purpose by adding moisture to our otherwise extremely dry environment. note: the heat of the wood burning stove determines whether or not we use our trivet. when we want more moisture/steam, we put steamer directly on the stoves top and the trivet on the coffee table. i only wish it produced more steam (but, i believe this has more to do with our stove vs the kettle itself). we are very happy w/our bears...

I collect bears of which I have from most states as well as many from foreign countries and this trivet is another piece, and unusual; I really like the iron. Wish I had not missed out on the 3-dimensional you offered a few years ago, but I am still watching. Thanks for having unusual pieces.

Have a wood heater in the bedroom and needed something to add mositure to the air. Like the look of the steamer and the trivet is great too.

This is a nice replacement for our old, chipped, steamer. The bear design fits in with our home in the mountains.

I bought this for our cabin in Utah and we use it on top of our franklin stove. Our cabin gets very dry and this helps a lot bringing moisture in the air. It is very heavy so don't need to worry about it tipping. It's cast iron and has a unique style. The only down fall which is not a big deal, is it's hard to see the waterline when filling.

This was a gift. The recipients love it and use it daily as they have a wood stove. I believe this item will last forever and it works well humidifying the air. It's a great conversation piece too!

Last year, I gave my spouse the similar pewter tree ornament. This year, I gave him the trivet. We love the dancing bears!
