I grew up with bedspreads like this and they are hard to find now. It's perfect and I am very satisfied with the quality. I have a platform bed and the top of the mattress is 27 inches above the floor. Bedspread fringes are abour 3 inches above the floor.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
