I purchased this beautiful bench last summer, but after a few months the handles rusted. I returned the bench, but I wish I didn't have to, because I really liked the design. I have similar deck furniture made out of aluminum that I purchased in 1999,; it has maintained it's beauty and has been rust free. Perhaps P&H can build this out of solid aluminum or a strong aluminum alloy.

The bench quickly developed rust that I had to sand off, then use naval jelly to get most of it off. Then we spray painted with rustoleum and all that was work we had not expected. We recommend you rust proof the bench right after assembly to protect from air moisture. We recently ordered a resin bench from Plow and Hearth instead of the metal bench. Too much work.

Haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up. It is on a covered porch right now but did have plans to put it near the fire pit which would put it out in the weather. Will know more as time goes on.

It's still barely out of the box so I can't speak to durability, but it was quick to put together and looks really great. It's not something I'd want to sit on for hours, but it's plenty comfortable enough.

Ordered this bench to replace one that was damaged when a tree branch fell on it, destroying the wooden slats. Hoping that this bench will withstand any falling tree branches, as there are no wooden pieces on it. Nice design and I look forward to sitting on it when the weather warms up.

Solid metal bench for a good value and price. I have one very similar to this one which I purchased from P & H (has a slightly different backrest design) which I use in full sun near our barn.

Difficult to find a good quality metal bench for a reasonable price. This is the one. Sturdy and durable.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and her husband for their house on a lake. It will be a great place to relax overlooking the lake.

It is too soon to tell if the winter weather will take a toll. I assembled it as soon as it arrived and put it on the deck until Spring. In early Spring it will be transferred to my garden. It will look so much better than the stark white plastic one that is there now. I wanted it to blend with the landscape and still be functional. This will do just that I believe.

This bench is a great size for a small porch. I spent approximately 30 min. assembling the bench. It fits perfectly in its intended space on our front porch. Wonderful value for the quality.

I put this bench together alone since my husband was out of town. It took approximately 30 minutes, but I took my time. For me, the toughest part of this bench 'experience' was getting the box inside the house...not because of size but due to the weight. It wasn't overwhelmingly heavy but a little bit awkward to maneuver. All worth it, though, because the bench is perfect for our front porch entryway. I don't think I could have found a better fit at a better price.

I purchased two of these one year ago for firepit seating and just received a third bench to add to the seating configuration. The first two have stood up well against weather and time. My guests love them as much as I do and so adding a third to the firepit seating arrangement was just a logical thing to do.
They are all beautiful and are the perfect addition to any home, yard, patio, or porch. Elegant design. Sturdy construction. I had this one assembled and positioned after just 15 minutes. Love it!!

Looks good and easy to put together.. if you read the directions. As a guy I usually glance at the directions and then proceed. I had the bench all together when my wife noticed that I had the seat upside down. OOPS.... directions not real clear. Now that its together correctly it looks great on the deck.

Easy assembly - 15 minutes. Should last for years. Steel can be refinished for many years - just scrape, sand, and spray paint any color you desire. Excellent buy for under $100.
