Searched high and low for battery operated, auto on, window candles that didn't look cheap and/or flip out of the sill. These exceeded my dreams! Piece that slides in window frame (or in my case the midpoint of double hung windows) is completely bendable so you can adjust for your particular window configuration. Beautiful looking and solidly made. Love them!

I took the advice of another reviewer. Tweaked the holders in the window the way I wanted them. Then laid all candles on table, loaded batteries, put light bulbs on, tested them. Turned all off. THEN at (pick your time) with candles on table turned them all on and added to the holders in window. Mine faithfully all came on at 5. (Note a couple I had to retweak simply because I had failed to carefully screw bulb in).

Truthfully, I was hoping that some of the previous reviews were exaggerated regarding the color of the bulbs. NOT! Why, oh why, can a manufacturer not make a CLEAR/WHITE blub for these? The yellow/orange glow of these is totally unacceptable because my exterior lighting for the holidays is entirely clear/white bulbs. Love the idea of these fitting into the window for stability, but - oh well!!! Am returning sooner than soon.

Well - I thought I had finally found the perfect candles to sit inside my windows without having to run extension cords everywhere...the candles would have been great if the bulbs were bright enough to see...I bought 10 of these at the original price...they were really a disappointment so I am returning for a refund. I hope they can come up with something better.

I ordered one of these for every window to glow throughout this holiday season. I have put one of them up just to test it now and I love it. It was very easy to set up and looks just right. I think the color of the bulb is very tasteful and the intensity of the light looks tasteful too -not super bright. I'm not sure why another reviewer disliked it so much. There may be more convincing bulbs out there but I really think these are pretty good.

The bulb is much more yellow than it appears on-line or in catalog. Not the "classy" look I expected. In fact, it looks rather gaudy. I would not purchase this product again as it is too expensive to replace the bulbs which have never been used. I have them in my window but am a little embarrassed by the bright yellow glow.
