Comments about Product: I purchased this teapot for a friend of mine after visiting a local tea shoppe. It finally arrived today and I was so disappointed. It is alot smaller then I expected, fragile, and the handle looks awkward. I will be returning this item.
I am so thrilled with this perchase
Comments about Product: I love to drink tea, but have always only made it individually a cup at a time, now just the sight of at least four cups waiting for me makes me "happy." just a "little" bit "delicate" for me since my kitchen counters are "stone" and my floors are too.

I LOVE TEA AND THIS GREAT TEAPOT.
Comments about Product: I FIND THIS TEA IS MILD IN FLAVOR, THAT I CAN DRINK IT WITHOUT ADDING SUGAR, OR HONEY.I LOVE TO WATCH THE TEA TURN INTO A FLOWER, WHICH I NEVER HAVE SEEN BEFORE.

Comments about Product: Apparently, even though it states that the teapot is dishwasher and microwave safe, it can be easily broken which was very disappointing.
a great gift for a princess tea drinker
Comments about Product: I purchased this as a gift for my aunt. It was a huge hit!!! It is right up her alley. she is the type that likes to drink coffee/tea in special dainty china cups and she loves the warm tea and beautiful botanical that blooms inside the pot. she said the tea actually taste good and plans on purchasing more bulbs. the glass pot is thin but has not chipped, yet. we havent figured out how the infuser works but it still makes great tea without it.
It broke after one use.

Unique, not for everyday use
Comments about Product: Used only when we have guests.
bought it for a gift
Comments about Product: I bought this tea and teapot as a gift for a friend. I had it sent directly to her. She told me she really liked it. Her friend from England informed her it is the best way to make tea. I do not live close enough to her to visit a lot in the winter so I have not seen it yet. I plan to visit soon for tea!
To all tea lovers....
Comments about Product: This was a gift from my husband and at first I thought he had wasted his money...until I used it. I am an avid tea drinker and love my pretty tea pots. Since this tea pot is clear and void of design, I was not impressed at first....Now it is my favorite tea pot. I love being able to see my tea. It washes well in the dishwasher and I use it everyday. I would highly recommend this tea pot even though it isn't on display with all my other pretty tea pots, it gets the most use.

Classic and useful
Comments about Product: I like being able to easily see the strength of brew. When the strainer insert is removed, the lid falls off easily when pouring.
Comments about Product: Delightful for company!
Comments about Product: I bought this for my mother, whose microwave tea water container had broken. On the website it says that the teapot is microwave safe, but when she got it, it does not say microwave safe, and looks quite delicate.
It may be a great product, but it is not what was advertised.

Really Fun Gift!
Comments about Product: I asked for this teapot and the tea flowers for Christmas and it has been the most fun gift. My mom got a set for both me and my sister and we tried mine out right after I opened it Christmas morning. Mom loved it so much that I am buying her a set for her birthday. The tea tastes great and it's so much fun watching the blooms open. This is such a unique gift that anyone would love receiving it.

glass teapot and tea flowers
Comments about Product: The glass insert is just that - not an infuser as far as I can tell. The picture shows the flower bloomed out way beyond the so-called infuser, unless there was something missing with my teapot.
I can't figure out a useful use except to take the glass insert out and pour pre-brewed tea into the pot and use just for looks.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
