Coiled hose storage basket Crafted of wrought iron with scrollwork design Weatherproof and rust-resistant powder-coated finish Mounting hardware included
Comments about Product: I have two of these holders, and am very happy. I had someone else install them, so I cannot speak to that issue. As to the problem of the coiled hose falling through the holder, I picked up a coco mat intended for a long narrow planter, and put that inside the wrought iron. It holds the hose perfectly, doesn't collect water, doesn't rust, and looks attractive. This is important, as I live in a condo, and the hose is in plain site, both in the front and the back.
Useless Hardware, No Instructions
Comments about Product: As someone else pointed out (but not yet corrected by Plow and Hearth), the hardware is useless for mounting this on a shed wall, as they are toggle bolts for a 1" thick wall.
Haven't tried mounting it yet (gotta go to the hardware store), but I expect I will also discover that the coils fall through if the hose has water in it. The photo is misleading.
Still, better than a flower pot to store the hose in--always nasty little black widows hiding out in there.

Less Than Perfect
Comments about Product: This a very attractive hose holder but, as some other reviewers have pointed out, the average coil hose falls through the slots. I'm still able to lay the hose it this holder but it takes some time to get it right. Still better than letting it dangle to the ground. I recommend this product with the warning of the hose size issues.
Attractive but not functional
Comments about Product: The wrought iron is solid, but not too heavy and is a very attractive piece, but it does not hold a coiled hose very well as the hose slips through the spaces. Also the basket did not come with mounting instructions.
Hose Basket for curly hoses.
Comments about Product: The hose basket I purchased is perfect for what I needed. It is attractive and as I said durable. I use it for my curly hose on the back patio and the basket keeps the hose off the ground and neatly curled up for the next time.
Get's the job done
Comments about Product: Gets the hose up off the ground so I can mow & trim without moving it, but because I have an antique farmhouse, it isn't some cheap plastic thing. Perfect!
Comments about Product: I was rather surprised to find some very useless hardware supplied. It seems to me (and from the picture in the catalog), that most people will be installing this item on the outside wall of a house. The hardware supplied was useless for this purpose. Rather frustrating, for the price, to have to run down to my local hardware store and purchase and paint my own hardware in order to install it. Other than that, a very nice idea!
Comments about Product: Needs two more horizonal bars to keep coiled hose from getting hung-up in basket.
holder too small for garden hose
Comments about Product: It is quite attractive, but doesn't do the intended job. Perhaps it was meant for only the brand of hose sold in catalog, but then it should have stated that clearly in the ad.
Pretty and Functional
Comments about Product: I love this item and will most likely buy another. The coiled hoses I purchased from another retailer came with holders that could be mounted to the outside of the house, but they were a nightmare. I spent more time trying to get the hoses back into the holders than I did using the hoses to water. I saw this and thought not only would it be attractive, but no more fighting with the hoses! It is serving it's purpose brilliantly.
Comments about Product: Excellent to store the hose. Looks neat and clean.
Comments about Product: We've installed this hose basket on the front of our home and it looks nice! It installed easily onto the bricks and is very sturdy. It holds the hose and Wand Nozzle with ease and works out nicely! (Much nicer than a traditional hose & reel system!)
My Contractor Want's To Order One
Comments about Product: Keeps my patio tidy, no more embarrassing piles of tangled hoses.
Modification of the Basket
Comments about Product: The additionof two basket supports the lenght of the unit would prevent the coiled hose from faling through and becoming entangled in the basket itself.
Comments about Product: Love it. Plenty of room for my coiled hose and nozzle. Looks great.
Nicest hose holder I've ever bought..
Comments about Product: I use the hose holder on my deck for my coiled hose. I love it. It's much better looking than the one that came with the hose originally. It's sturdy and looks very nice and tidy at the same time. My husband is really impressed with the way it looks too. It was a little bit expensive but you only get what you pay for [...]My Cat Spinner was on back order but when I received it I was totally thrilled. Soooo Cute for Cat Lovers.
Comments about Product: Love the basket. The only problem was that it came with different hardware than shown and did not work. The screws stuck out way too far, was ugly, and we had to but caps and paint it black to cover it up.
Beautiful, sturdy addition
Comments about Product: Needed this to keep hose coiled and out-of-the-way.
beautiful and sturdy
Comments about Product: Instructions for installation would have been helpful. The hardware supplied is not something you see everyday.
No mounting instructions included!
Comments about Product: Seems that it would get the job done but I cant get the darn thing on the wall. No hanging instructions were included.
pretty in the garden
Comments about Product: keeps the hose neat. not an eyesore on the house
Nice decorative touch, I am very pleased

Does the job and is attractive
Comments about Product: This is a great way to store a coiled hose to keep off the ground and it is nice to look at as well.
does NOT work well
Comments about Product: The problem with the product is that when the coiled hose is full of water (which is always) it is heavy and slips into the gaps in the metal construction. It is then impossible to pull the hose out easily, it has to be lifted up and untangled from the basket, every time. The design needs at least 1 - 2 more horizontal 'webs'.

It did the job . I love it.
Comments about Product: With out this product the coiled hose layed on the deck,,,now it has a place of it's own and looks good.

Friends Loved It
Comments about Product: Recent guests were so impressed with our hose basket that I ordered two more, one for each of them.
Hose basket is wonderful!!
Comments about Product: Basket was easy to attach to the house.Works great!
By happy consumer
Comments about Product: I hated to have to use my garden hose when it was stored under the faucet. It was dirty and a pain to have to coil / uncoil. Buying a coiled garden hose solved part of the problem, but buying the coiled hose holder has been wonderful. Although I had a problem attaching to the house (I'm not very handy), once I did this, the holder keeps the hose off the ground without the chance of the hose becoming tangled.

Keeps things nice & neat!
Comments about Product: East to pull the hose out and easy to put it back. Keeps the hose clean.
Keeps the hose where you want it
Comments about Product: There were no instructions in the box. I had to refer to the catalogue and then figure out what the concret anchors were for
NO HARDWARE INCLUDED!
Comments about Product: Hose basket looks very nice, however the catalog shows it hanging on a wood house. The hardware included is only to hang on brick or mortar.
Comments about Product: This hose holder is the best one we've ever had. It looks amazing on the wall of our porch, and keeps the hose off the ground where we were tripping on it. We're no longer fussing with wind up hose boxes. Thanks for the beautiful and functional design. It takes up so much less space!
Every Colied Hose Needs This Home !!!
Comments about Product: I have two of these. All the neighbors want one. Looks great with other ornamental iron features in the landscape.

Love this basket!
Comments about Product: Love the looks of this holder. It holds my spring hose from Plow & Hearth perfectly, I hardly have to do anything to put the 75' hose away! I have this mounted on a stone wall and it has never fallen down, I even leave it up all winter long and it still looks just as great as the day I got it.
Comments about Product: This is perfect for holding the coiled hose! It keeps everything off the ground and helps the hose stay clean as well. I highly recommend it. It has also lasted very well through a cold, snowy winter.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
