Comments about Product: I unrolled it when I got and re-rolled it tightly several times in the opposite direction. I've had no problem at all since with edges curling. Weighting it down doesn't work. Ordering another for outdoor on the patio.

Beautiful porch addition
Comments about Product: Looks great with our white wicker rockers on our covered porch. Adds a touch of class.
Great customer service
Comments about Product: This is a very nice rug considering that it is an outdoor rug. I may use indoors instead.
Comments about Product: I've been looking for something that's colorful and functional. This does both!!
Comments about Product: Use this in front of sliding glass door on deck. The quality is good and I love the design and colors.

Cute rug but I keep tripping on it
Comments about Product: I bought two of these - one to use in front of the kitchen sink, the other in front of a sliding glass door heading from the kitchen to the deck. I love the colors - I bought the blue - they match my kitchen perfectly. They arrived rolled up so tightly that I cannot seem to get the "curl" out of the edges. I tried leaving heavy items on it and rolling them in the opposite direction. Nothing seems to work. It's not so bad in front of the slider, but I keep tripping on it in front of the sink where I am all the time. Too bad, because they're so cute!
Perfect for my porch!
Comments about Product: I have this in a three season porch. Really brightens up the area, very cheary. Looks duable..but since it is looped..my dogs nails may be able to snag the threads. Time will tell. I ordered on Suday afternoon and it was delivered two days later. Great service.
Perfect for us!
Comments about Product: We put this indoor/outdoor rug in our dining area and it looks great! Having something that is rugged and easy to clean is the perfect solution with a toddler running around.
Easy care and easy on the eyes

Very pretty rug
Comments about Product: This rug looks great on the patio and feels great under your feet. It will be exposed to the Florida sun and weather so I hope it will hold up better than those polypropylene rugs that I have purchased in the past. Those other rugs mildewed and wouldn't come clean and then it began unraveling from the chair legs being dragged across it. This rug appears to be of better quality so I'm hoping it lasts longer than those others. Colors are bright and beautiful.
Comments about Product: This is the second indoor/outdoor rug of this material I have purchased this season from P&H. I think they are beautiful and the perfect solution for high traffic areas. I needed a large rug that I could clean easily and frequently (by my front door)and I bought my first rug. Very happy. The second purchase was of same material but it was a runner for outdoor/covered porch area. Just hose/pressure spray and the dirt goes away!

Great choice for my bathroom!
Comments about Product: Makes a great bathmat for outside my walk in shower! I don't worry about it getting wet as it's indoor/outdoor. It also stays put as it's nonslip. Love the rich colors. Deeper and truer than expected. Arrived quickly and well packed.Ordered a different one to go under my dining room table! Great product. It DOES take awhile to flatten out but it's hardly worth mentioning.
thin, not for indoor
Comments about Product: I am returning this rug. I think it would never work indoors unless it was just an entry rug because it is so thin! The blue and green colors were bright, but the backround did not seem to match the color I thought it was on the website.
Comments about Product: Great rug! Colors represent exactly what was seen on website.
Comments about Product: This rug is exceptional to walk barefoot on. Incredible soft for an indoor/outdoor rug. I put it in a sunroom and boy did it help shower the room with brightness. I am trying to decide where I can use another one! Very nice quality.

Just what we were looking for
Comments about Product: We love having this rug as a runner in the kitchen, in front of the sink and counters. The teal and green floral pattern on cream background looks nice and fresh with our wood floors and off-white cabinets. We also have 4x6 size on our stair landing. Our two cats like these two particular places to stretch and scratch, and these rugs are holding up just fine. Plus the weave is soft underfoot. We plan to buy another for our screened-in porch.

Comments about Product: I bought this rug to go with my new white wicker settee set I purchased in June. Adds the perfect pop of color with the cushions. I have been so very satisfied with all my purchases for my new patio. I have one the best looking patios in the neighborhood!
Really cool rug!
Comments about Product: Purchased this rug to use in our home office. Needed a rug to fit under two office chairs that have wheels. The tightness of the weave makes movability for the chairs a breeze. Love the colors and how vivid they are.
Good quality for price
Comments about Product: We use this as an indoor rug in our eat-in kitchen area. I was surprised at how soft and comfy it is underfoot for a carpet billed as an outdoor rug. Not scratchy or synthetic feeling at all. The blue and green colors of the flowers and leaves are as I expedted but I was disappointed in the background "ivory" color. It is much darker than it appeared in the picture and almost appears dirty. Probably would not have bought if I saw it in person. Still we've grown used to it and it is good quality for the price.
Comments about Product: Using in our office/family room. I purchased the striped rug in 8 x 12. Colors are pretty much what I viewed on my monitor: chocolate brown, navy blue, sky blue, and chartreuse green. When I unrolled it, I nearly cried due to all of the bumps left from the rug being rolled up in storage. If it weren't such a hassle, I'd have sent it right back. Glad I didn't though; I spent a several days moving weighted boards around to smooth it out, and now I am thrilled with my choice. Soft feel and lovely too!
Comments about Product: Between the on line catalog and the print catalog it cane up as three different shades of blue. Took a chance and it is a good choice but still did not match any of the shades.
Dark ivory not white
Comments about Product: I'm disappointed as the color is a dark Ivory when I thought it would be white from the photo. If you click on the rug color icon you get the true color. Unfortunately I didn't. (I wanted to brighten a dark area) Otherwise, I like the pattern and quality. I'll still use it until I find something brighter.
Great indoors too
Comments about Product: I bought the blue surry print. My 10 year old wanted a rug in her bedroom and she is pretty messy. This rug looks like a quality indoor rug...it's thick, but because it's made for outdoor use, I have confidence it will stand up to the art supply disasters and other mishaps. She is very happy with the way it looks.

Comments about Product: I am using the rug in my guest room. It doesn't feel like an outdoor rug. It's very soft, well made and it's a good looking rug. It was tightly rolled when received. I rolled it the opposite way for a couple of days and it laid flat. Highly recommend.
Comments about Product: I bought this rug for under our kitchen table. Soft enough to be comfortable inside and durable to withstand crumbs and spills. I think it will do really well there. Just as advertised.
Comments about Product: I actually bought this rug (in navy) to use in my dining room. The color is gorgeous and for an outdoor rug I was very pleased with the quality. Two items keep me from giving it 5 stars. First, the rug is crooked and a good 1 1/2 inches shorter on one side. I had a tough time lining it up in my room straight till I finally measured and realized why. Second along the edges there are about three places where the flower design just starts before the edge of the rug. This is just a tiny yellow spot on the edge that I keep thinking is fuzz on the carpet when I look at it. Not too appealing to the eye. If you are in the market for perfection, may not be the product for you. Since it's only a matter of time before one of my kids spills something horrible on it during dinner, it's perfect for my dining area and very very pretty!

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
