Great log carrier
Comments about Product: This log carrier makes bringing wood into the house incredibly easy. It fits a good amount of wood, is strong and durable, and very easy to maneuver. Highly recommend!
Excellent Firewood Carrier
Comments about Product: The log carrier stays open while filling, fits any log that will go in my fireplace, and will carry as much weight as I am comfortable with lifting! Closed ends keep log debris from falling out while walking through the house. Then folds down and easily stows out of sight near the fireplace. Worth every penny!
Comments about Product: Very sturdy and attractive

Comments about Product: I use the tote to bring firewood from garage pile to fireplace woodbox. I have little room in front of garage vehicles. I would prefer shorter handles so the weight is closer to my body.
I appreciate the sturdy construction and good looks.
Comments about Product: Previous carrier had some end enclosure but we still always seemed to have something on the carpet. That problem is solved since this carrier is completely enclosed!
The only problem I find is that the capacity is so great I can put more wood in than I am comfortable carrying (75 year old lady). You really don't have to FILL it every trip.
Comments about Product: Item was not delivered by Christmas although ordered with duplicate one. Customer service apologized and said it would be delivered up to 2weeks after the holiday..
Would by this product again.
Comments about Product: Gift was bought for our son and he said that it was great carrying wood into the house. He no longer had to carry a few in at a time.
Comments about Product: This canvas log carrier is ideal for carrying firewood from your shed to the fireplace. It is well made with durable canvas and reinforced straps. It stays open while loading and will hold a large amount of logs...easily enough for an enjoyable evening by the fireplace.
The transaction and shipping were flawless. Buy with confidence!

Extremely rugged and well made
Comments about Product: We have owned one of these carriers for over 20 years. Because of it's high quality, we bought one for our son. The stitching is still perfect and we have no rips. Handles very heavy loads and keeps floor clean because of sides. Perfect product!
Really great product
Comments about Product: The sides really do stand up when the carrier is empty. A vast improvement over our old open ended carrier. Very pleased with this one!

Comments about Product: I would've liked a dk brown canvas to blend with the wood; however I was adamant about having a log carrier with sides, after we wore out our leather one and knocking dings in woodwork. Husband FINALLY saw my point and continues to rave about how much he loves it - neat and large capacity!.

Best Log Carrier
Comments about Product: We love our new wood bag. We use it to carry wood from our back porch wood pile to our fireplace, and it works great. With the handy flaps it's easy to keep the mess to a minimum and can carry 8-10 large pieces of split wood. It can also accommodate a bit longer pieces as well which is nice. Bag is heavy duty and the handles are well attached and strong. We are very happy with our new wood bag and highly recommend for the price.
Very functional carrier
Comments about Product: Carrying in large chunks of wood from the woodpile demands a heavy duty carrier and this one is perfect. Its a great product and one I am glad to recommend.

Canvas Log Carrier
Comments about Product: This was a Christmas gift to my husband and he loves it. I love it because it keeps his wood mess in the canvas bag and not on the carpet. It is very sturdy and looks good too.
Comments about Product: My dad is 70 years old and it makes it easier for him to carry wood upstairs to the woodstove.
reduces the mess and easy to carry.
Comments about Product: bought a wood rack that uses 2 X 4s and no screws. Just slide wood through slots. You do not carry it anymore. Love the product. It's sturdy and extremely easy to put together and take apart. Would buy another if you still had it.
Carry the load and decrease the mess
Comments about Product: I unwrapped this yesterday, as it was an early christmas present from ME to ME but it think it is better described as for my wife. The first thing i noticed was the great quality. Nice weight canvas and and the closed ends beckoned me to try it out. I took it out to the wood shed and started loading it up. I put in about what was probably 40-50 pounds of wood or at least almost more than I could carry and headded for the house. Carrier handles held up good and their wrap around design around the carrier increases carrying capacity. I unloaded it and went back for more. This time i gathered kindling and threw it on top of the firewood i had already put in the carrier. I brought that load in and used the kindling (small dead branches) to start the stove and used the carrier to hold the wood in addition to my small rack until i had room on the rack transfer the extra wood from the carrier to the rack. I looked around after getting things started and to my content the area was CLEAN, all conatined in the carrier. No chips, no dirt from the wood, just a smile on my wife's face. Now that was PRICELESS. Buy it, you won't regret it.
Comments about Product: Easily handles a full load of firewood without strain or fear that fabric might tear. Use it to carry firewood into the house from the wood pile outdoors and to keep the wood together indoors.

Hauls wood. Good!
Comments about Product: If you need a basic sling to haul wood, this is it. Instead of multiple trips (and splinters) when we want to have a fire, we carry a full evening's wood in the carrier all in one trip. Durable, basic, all you need for a SoCal household's fire needs.
Work horse log carier
Comments about Product: Gave this to my husband for Christmas to replace a much older and faded carrier. This has enough room and is strong enough to haul the logs from the front of the house/garage area to the back fire pit and smoker. The dark color hides dirt and the pocket is big enough to hold our fire starters as well. Well done P&H.

pretty much perfect log carrier
Comments about Product: This carrier holds a substantial amount of wood and keeps the bark and debris inside and off the floor. It is exactly what I was hoping for. I LOVE that it was made in the USA, and it shows in the quality.

Don't fetch wood without it!
Comments about Product: We wore out the old cheep wood carrier. Only had this one 1 season but very impressed. Even though you fill the carrier up, the design makes it easy to carry. Seems to be very rugged & built well
Comments about Product: Large capacity, heavy duty, easy to carry wood in from porch to fireplace. Good quality and color of fabric.

I would buy this as a gift.

Canvas Log Carrier
Comments about Product: This canvas log carrier is great for toting a night's supply of logs from the woodpile to the house. It catches any little pieces that may fall out the logs, and carries far more logs than I can tote the weigh. Even if our fireside stand is full of logs, we keep this at its side with extra logs, It comes in handy on an extra cold or snowy night.
Be careful with the handles
Comments about Product: We have had problems with the handles.
Does the job!
Comments about Product: Holds a lot, yet, easy to carry, and folds flat out of the way when not in use.
Comments about Product: Great for wood burning stoves

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
