Beautifully crafted from eco-friendly, sustainable eucalyptus, our classic slatted furniture is made for long-term outdoor use - with little or no maintenance required. Eucalyptus is very dense, with a straight grain and high oil content, so it's exceptionally durable and weather resistant. It's excellent for outdoor furniture-the look and style of teak without the maintenance and expense.
Each piece is simple and elegant in design, with perfectly spaced slats, well-proportioned contoured seats and wide arms.
The natural pieces feature a deep, rich stain that weathers over time to a soft gray. Or stain it occasionally to maintain the warm, rich hues. Painted pieces have an automotive-grade paint guaranteed to withstand the elements. Assembly required.

Classic Slatted Low-Maintenance Eucalyptus Rocker
Classic Slatted Low-Maintenance Eucalyptus Side Table
Comments about Product: Purchased two of these rockers and one side table. Easy enough to assemble and they look beautiful on the porch. However, there is not enough slant to the back (or the seat is not deep enough) to be comfortably "rocked back" when sitting in them. So sitting in them is very straight up rather than relaxed. Won't buy a chair I can't test out before purchase again.
Back to buy 4 more after 13 years
Comments about Product: 13 years ago we purchased 4 of these rockers for our covered porch. Our porch is our family room. After 13 years they still look good and we are still using them everyday, year-round.
We are ordering 4 more of these rocking chairs to replace other chairs that have not held up nearly as well as these.
Hope 3rd times a charm
Comments about Product: This is the second table. The first one had a crack in the table top. Now this one is cracked on the bottom where the legs fasten to the table top. Hope the third one is right.
poor quality control
Comments about Product: Bought this as a replacement for another table from Plow & Hearth that had design issues. The table looks great and goes with another rocker from Plow & Hearth. The problem is that a piece of the wood on the table top was split and two of the legs were beat up with chip marks. The box was not damaged in shipping and this is a manufacture issue. There needs to be better quality control at the Manufacture. Would of liked to seen a better seal coat on the wood but I'll put one on myself when I get the replacement.

Not as good
Comments about Product: We started with 2 of these rockers over ten years ago. They were the PERFECT rockers. Such a lovely balance without the poker straight backs so often found in chairs like these. Great durable finish! We loved them so much, we got two more the next year and have four on our porch year-round. They are all used daily by the family and weekly for neighborhood music night. This spring one of the slats in the seat of one of the oldest chairs broke. When I saw these were still in the catalog, I decided to get a replacement chair. They looked just the same so I thought I was in luck. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! They are now made of much lighter wood, have a much cheaper paint job and worst of all, have the most uncomfortable straight back. The angle has been completely changed. I have removed the new chair and put it in the basement. I put the broken slat chair back on the porch. It is much more comfortable than the new one even with the broken slat. I'm so sorry to see what was such a great chair changed into the same thing I can get at the local discount store.
Great chairs at a great price
Comments about Product: It took 2 people to put the chairs together but it was easy to do once we got started. The trick is to have a rubber mallet handy to ensure that the pieces line up and are secure before you insert the screws. The chairs arrived via UPS in great shape. The completed chairs look wonderful & are a good value for the money.
O.K. for the price
Comments about Product: I bought this same rocker when it was manufactured in the USA and loved the rocker (I have 4). When two wicker rockers bit the dust this rocker was the natural replacement. After reading the customer comments about lower quality now that this rocker is made outside the USA I was concerned. However, I was willing to give it a try and purchased 2 rockers. The rockers look great and seem to be sturdy. The quality is much lower. We did not receive some of the essential screws for each rocker to put it together securely and I am awaiting a shipment of the missing screws. Therefore, I can't yet talk about how the chair feels. However we found that the screws on the runners protrude and we are worried about whether this will mar the deck. We will probably file them down. The issue is that the holes were not properly drilled, and that is my general comment about the quality. Not great, but adequate. So overall, when I look at the price and the rocker my conclusion is it is still a good value, but not trouble free. Plow & Hearth customer service was very helpful concerning the missing parts, and that made it all a bit better.
really wanted these to rock...!
Comments about Product: Bought two of these rocking chairs....and I really really wanted to love them...but the comfort and construction quality were disappointing. There were chips in the paint, and splits in the wood [covered up by the paint until after some use]. Needed one side panel replaced due to major defect, and customer service was timely, good and helpful. They do look nice on my wrap around porch, but not sure if I would purchase again.
The perfect table for a porch!
Comments about Product: These are perfect for use on a front porch. They match my rocking chairs, which were purchased from another company. I like the finish and the height is ideal.
Nice, but not so comfortable
Comments about Product: The chairs were not that difficult to put together. And they look very nice on the front porch. However, they are not nearly as comfortable as they look. Maybe it's because of the straight back, with no lower back support...something I'm used to having. Think I'll definitely have to get a cushion or two, if I'm going to sit in them for any length of time....
First time Buyer
Comments about Product: Purchased for front porch area new house. Wood a little rough scuffed in areas but generally good condition. They look fabulous. Can't comment on durability as just received and put together over weekend.
By so sad - quality gone
NOT THE SAME AS THE PAST!
Comments about Product: We have been a fan of Plow and Hearth white slatted outdoor furniture. We purchased the porch swing in 2002, 2 rockers and a side table in 2003, an adirondack in 2005. All were painted with durable and smooth white paint and made in the USA. Our front porch became our favorite 'room' of the house! In 2010, we replaced the swing and it was NOT the same quality (made in China) as the original that was made in the USA, but acceptable. We just ordered another rocker that was so poorly made and painted that we didn't even bother to put it together! We requested free return shipping because the product was defective. Part of an arm had wood missing and a dent BEFORE it was poorly painted. THIS rocker was made in Indonesia. I looked back at my former furniture receipts and looked up the company that made the furniture in the USA. Sadly, the company closed down in July 2006, explaining why Plow and Hearth has switched to another vendor. I'd rather not bother with buying such cheap products any more. I was disappointed with a Christmas item I bought in the winter as well. It was also cheaply made. Don't let the wonderful catalog pictures fool you!
Very Nice Rocker
Comments about Product: This rocker is very comfortable without the cushions. I use it everyday on my covered front porch. Now my husband wants one. Very sturdy and easy to put together.
Nice Strong Table
Comments about Product: Very sturdy table. It is an expensive small table but bought it on sale and it matched the rocking chair. Goes perfect together and is the right height.

Better than even I expected.
Comments about Product: I wanted these two chairs for my Labor Day patio party. P&H got them to me the Friday before, but unfortunately both boxes were seriously damaged and the delivery man helped me open them. Both chairs had broken parts. Sent both back and emailed P&H. I did get quick delivery of two additional chairs. Boxes still damaged, but less so, and both chairs were fine. Easily to assemble (I got the side table too) and they are unbelievably good quality. I may order 2 more for inside my cottage-style home.
Some quality control improvement needed
Comments about Product: We bought two of these chairs in dark green. One rocker was defective. I called customer service and was immediately helped and a new rocker was on the way. We assembled the second chair with no problem. Fortunately we received not one but two replacement rockers, because one of the replacements was also defective.
The actual assembly was pretty easy, and the chairs look nice from a distance and are reasonably comfortable. But both chairs came already scratched and dinged with flaws in the finish.
I want to buy more!
Comments about Product: I really enjoy the 2 white rockers that I purchased. They are very attractive, comfortable-+ and everyone that comes to my home seems to sit in them and overlook all of the other furniture. I would definitely recommend to a friend or purchase additional chairs. The only problem I had was the back of the chair needed to be labeled as you could easily put it on backwards (learned the hard way).
Comments about Product: this chair has been a nightmare. Plow and Hearth stood behind and reshipped a whole new chair.. that one did not have wood parts that fit together either...we called and they again reshipped the parts that did not go together. these fit but had definate stain issues and also mars and holes in the wood of the chair. not what I expect for a [$] chair. it however is comfortable...i'll see how it holds up in weather.
Comments about Product: We ordered this rocker as a gift for a friend who was retiring. We could not have been more disappointed with the finish (the "natural" rocker.) The pieces of wood did not match - some light, some dark, some glossy, some matte. The wood had a rough surface, joints were mismatched. Of course, trying to repack for a return is a nightmare. Not recommended, primarily because of a dreadful, rough, uneven finish and mismatched parts.

Disappointed - hoping for better
Comments about Product: Initially, we were excited to receive our rockers but soon grew disappointed. The construction on one of the rockers was poorly done (wrong sized holes) and we couldn't even assemble it. We had been hoping to use them for an event this week but now will probably have to go through the hassle of sending back a large package. Ugh! Also, the paint was chipped and cracked in some places when the rockers first arrived. We are hoping that Plow and Hearth will rectify this situation quickly.
Missing pieces and hardware
Comments about Product: Ordered two rockers for out of town guests to enjoy on our porch for Easter weekend. One was fine, the other was missing pieces AND hardware. A replacement won't arrive until after guests are gone and holiday is over, major disappointment for our first order with Plow and Hearth. The one chair that could be put together looks nice in the natural finish. I would rate it higher if both had arrived able to assemble.
Comments about Product: The products are great! The customer service was horrible and I will never shop with your company again because of that very reason. If you would like to know more please feel free to contact me.
Comments about Product: I bought two rockers and have observed that they are poorly constructed. Many of the screw covers did not fit, and one of the seat slats was loose and not glued. They were uncomfortable, so I bought seat cushions. However, that made them worse as the cushions position you toward the edge of the seat and lean you forward. Not sure why the cushions do not seem to sync with the chairs.

Comments about Product: Great for a balcony, but is not so comfortable because it's a little high for me I'm 5'3'

Great rocking chairs for the porch.
Comments about Product: The rockers are perfect for the front porch and am able to view my mountains now whenever I care to.

Just what I was looking for
Comments about Product: I bought these for high back folding porch chairs. They were a perfect fit and oh-so-comfortable. They make the chairs look like new again. Definitely a good buy!
I would recommend and buy again.
Comments about Product: For comfort and great look.
extra luxe rocker cushions
Comments about Product: These are the nicest outdoor cushions I have found for rockers or any other patio/porch furniture. They are more like indoor upholstery with the cushiness of a tempurpedic foam.

Color and comfort were very good
Comments about Product: Looks great on our deck!
A good quality item!
Comments about Product: I was completely satisfied with this purchase. The cushions are attractive, comfortable and fit my rockers great. The fabric seems durable and hope it holds up over time and weather. Time will tell if I would buy them again.

Best cushions ever
Comments about Product: These are so thick and cushy. Very comfortable.
Back rocker cushion too thick.
Comments about Product: The rocker cushions are on the front porch. However, the back cushion is too thick, at least for my taste. Seat cushion is great.
rocker, chair, and bolster cushions
Comments about Product: rocker, chair, and lumbar cushions: Love the color, design, fit (for my antique wicker porch furniture), and feel of these cushions. I've had them only a short time so don't know how they'll hold up, but I hope they will.
Not bad... but not great.
Comments about Product: Somewhat easy to assemble...I did it by myself (although a 2 day process with the gluing). I've enjoyed the two rockers (in natural) under a covered porch since purchasing and have found it to be pretty sturdy. The only downside is that whomever in China manufactured it did not pay much attention to aesthetics. There were several "saw cuts" that were filled with unmatching wood filler. Nicks and scrapes everywhere (this was very noticeable during assembly). There was one big filled saw blade nick on the arm rest that is very noticeable. With the discounts offered by plow & hearth I guess it was about what I expected. Had I paid full price I would have been more upset. This is the 2nd low quality purchase from plow & hearth and I will be questioning any future purchases.
Rocking Chair Seat Cusions way too thick
Comments about Product: We've bought these chair cushions every few years from P&H and we love them BUT....this year they are about twice as thick as before, and we don't like them. When both seat and back cushions are used on a traditional rocker, the back is so thick (about 2 1/2") and the seat so high, you can't sit as comfortably as before. You can't sit back into the chair and your knees stick out the front a bit. Strange. Don't know why they changed them.
Comments about Product: Looks great on my porch rockers, colors
look just like in book. Will be used for a long time.
Great cush for your tush!
Comments about Product: I really like these rocker cushions. They last well, are comfortable and fit very well. I miss some of the old fabrics P & H used to carry-soft muted florals are not available any more.
Comments about Product: - Extemely poor quality - Screws strip - Pre-drilled screw holes do not completely line up. - Paint quality is poor. [...]
Comments about Product: I always tried to get my husband to buy me a rocker when we eat at Crackerbarrel!! Since we are always traveling when we eat there it wasn't feasible...however, I have my rockers on the front porch now!! Just as nice if not nicer!!
better than Cracker Barrell
Comments about Product: I often admired a chair like this at the Cracker Barrels restaurants...this is better!
Comments about Product: Used on my front porch. Great addition to the appearance of my home.
Perfect Front Porch Rocker
Comments about Product: Must be the perfect piece....everyone in our similiar looking homes, asks where we purchased it....If we won't be the only ones with it, we'll be the first!

Comments about Product: You will want to sit and rock the hours away in this gorgeous piece of furniture sure to become an heirloom piece! Made of solid construction, the finish is lovely and is wonderful outside under the carport. [...] we couldn't be happier!

Impressive quality and workmanship
Comments about Product: Nothing like sitting on the front porch in the afternoon after working all day and just rocking away the stress and watching the sun go down. These chairs are great. Good workmanship and comfortable seating.
Comments about Product: The only negative I had with this was that the screw plugs provided were not tapered enough. I would have had this assembled in no time if the plugs were easier to insert. The lack of tapering angle made the job more difficult than it needed to be. Keep in mind, this is a very minor complaint.

Comments about Product: The finish has a nice color, but dry. Seems it needs a varnish coat like the cracker barrel rockers. Also, the philip screws are not rated. They are soft cheap steel, typical of asian products. The screw heads strip making it impossible to reverse. Some of the nuts have threads that are not clean. I am certain that some of the nuts stripped the theads of the accompanying screws. The back slats creak making me think they will break. I bought 6 of these because of the eucalyptus wood. Maybe they will work best in the long run, but for now I am wishing I bought the Cracker Barrel rockers. I have an engineering background.

Good solid construction
Comments about Product: Heavy tables, good construction.
I absolutely love the our rockers!
Comments about Product: My husband and I can't wait to get out on the front porch first thing in the morning to enjoy our coffee in our beautiful green rocking chairs. They're so comfortable you don't even have to have a cushion! We absolutely love them!
Trouble with Rockers
Comments about Product: Need two people to put the chairs together to get them right. Screw covers (buttons) that came with the chairs are irregular and most did not fit properly (or at all) in the holes provided so we ended up not using them. This makes the chairs less attractive. The paint is cracking on the seat of one chair already, as well. (New this spring.) We like the table.
Rocker not comfortable
Comments about Product: We purchased two rockers. They look great, but they are not very comfortable. Additionally, we were disappointed by the quality of the rocker cushions for the price.
By Pasta Queen
Labelled "front," was really the back.
Comments about Product: We liked our first rocker so much (6 years old) that we ordered another. Great value. Only problem was that the slatted back of the chair had a label to aid the assembly was wrong -- the side marked "front" was really the back. Once I turned it around, the assembly finished up smoothly. Except for the little pegs that fill in the bolt holes. My husband and I never could get them to stay in, even using a mallet.
