I've been getting these peanuts for years - always around Christmas when i have family & friends around so i can share them - they're always a big hit because you can't get these kind of chocolate peanuts in the store... they're always fresh & very flavorful --- As long as they have them i'll continue to get them thru Plow & Hearth - along with their regular Virginia Peanuts ---- we love them.

While this product tasted good and was obviously made of high quality chocolate, I like my chocolate covered peanuts to have occasional clumps in them and these didn't. The chocolate was very shiny and almost waxy and so didn't clump together at all. This probably wouldn't be an issue for some people but it was for me so I wouldn't purchase this again.

I had purchased the Virginia peanuts during the holidays a couple of years ago and they were the best peanuts we had ever eaten. When I noticed the chocolate variety this past December, I ordered them as a family gift and we certainly were not disappointed! Again, we all said "these are the best chocolate peanuts we have ever had". Don't hesitate to try either version of these Virginia peanuts, they are superior quality and delicious!
