      We escaped a chimney fire thanks to Chimfex! Our County Fire Department told us that it was a "good thing" we used this product and to buy several more to keep on hand. READ the instructions before use and know to expect lots of smoke and bright sparks should you need to use the product. Chimfex smothers flames via smoke and some type of extingushing material all the way up your chimney when you close your fireplace/wood stove doors and cut off the air supply to the fire. Please "be prepared [for a chimney fire] and buy a few more of these Chimfexs to keep on hand along with a fire extinguisher" - per our local Fire Department.

      Thank you Plow and Hearth for carrying this product!!!!
