Wish there were instructions. I managed to figure it out but would prefer to know what I was doing instead of guessing. I made the mistake of pouring too much liquid into the holder, then had to carry it out to the grill and some of it spilled out. I cooked the chicken on the grill and it turned out great! It was tender and moist. I wouldn't put vegetables around the chicken until the last few minutes as they would be overcooked. Also, it wouldn't work putting vegetables around the outside in the oven as the juices would leak through the holes. A pan would have to be placed on the lower rack to prevent this.

This product was used on a gas grill as advertised. After 1-1/2 hrs., the chicken was drying out but the joints were still bloody. Also, the potatoes had dried up and were still hard in the middle. There should be no holes in the tray so juices will allow the veggies to steam and cook.

Easy way to prepare complete meal, bake chicken, potatoes, & carrots. Chicken was very tender and delicious. I've tried it with beer and wine. Both were great. Like it so much, I had one sent to my son, who enjoys cooking.
