Great item!

We've had this for several years now and can't imagine not having it. Starts fires quickly and easily and looks attractive too. If I had to add a con it would be that you have to remember to refill the lamp oil on occasion but really that's not a big deal.

A little hesitant at first to deal with a flammable liquid, but well contained in this well made good looking item.
Smaller then it appears in the picture which I find a plus.

We've used this for several years now and love it. We have stopped using fat wood to light our fires, just light the little soap stone wand, place it under the grate with some kindling and we have a nice roaring fire in no time.

This is so cute and fits right in my 200 year old Cape Cod. Cute design - smaller than I thought it would be, but very attractive. Still concerned about keeping it around kids and pets, but even just as a conversational piece it's a NICE HAVE.
