The color was discribed as copper. We were expecting more of an antique color - what we unpacked a flaming red tool kit. The rack is only tack welded, the tools are only screwed on. I will be taking them to work for proper welding. With a can of high temperature paint, we'll have the set we wanted.

I would have returned it but the stove was delivered and we needed something. This will do for now.

I am very happy with the product, and the delivery I give it A+, and I certainly would recommend my friends and family to purchase products from this company that you can trust their products when ordering. I have "NO" fault at all. As for the price, a little high, however, I am still happy with it better with this price, than a cracker jack box log holder and then be unhappy with it.
Looks good by the fireplace, changes the room completely. Good Quality.

Looks fine.

Of the 8 washers that surround the 4 handles, only one was welded to the handle. 2 of the 4 thread sets which attach the hanging ring are stripped.

I can JB weld this instead of sending it back, but I should not have to?

I bought this as a gift for my parents, [...] really like the tool set. When I ordered it the description was for the Bristol Tool Set & Log Holder, but when it arrived there was only a tool set. Apparently, they are sold separately although the description and title of the item is for both the tool set and log holder. You also cannot find the log holder if you search for it, which made me even more confident that my parents would receive both. Sketchy...blatantly intentional...

They are functional, but it was poorly painted when it arrived, and I painted it to match the screen that I purchased. (My fault for assuming copper was the same on both products.)You could see the black base in spots, and especially when the pincher tool was opened. I was able to match the hammered paint on the screen, and the tools function well. Alls well that ends well. For the price, I guess I would have expected more.

We bought these last year. The first year, the screw on the poker handle stripped and fell off while I was using it in a hot fire. This year, the round piece that you hooks the shovel to the holder fell off. The fire place tools are just incredibly poorly made. The log holder is fine.

I received the tool set as a gift to replace my old tool set. The tools are short and light weight and of lower quality than I am happy with. I think they are more for decorative use!

Gave this as a gift and they loved it. It is big enough to hold a lot of wood which you cannot tell from the picture. It's very wide. Has a closed bottom which is good so that it contains any shavings of wood pieces.

I wanted something elegant near my fireplace since my home is mostly white-on-white. This tool set & log holder in black look beautiful against white tile & brick. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!
