I ordered this birdhouse and pedestool set and it came with broken porch and pedastool came like it was a semi repair with wood filler and glue drip stains and cracks. Poorly made i liked the house i ordered replacements hopefully will come better otherwise will return that too.

This was actually purchased as a memorial for someone, so it will not be displayed outside. It was just like the picture. We purchased a plaque from Things Remembered and it looks fantastic! The bunting adds such a nice touch!

Very cute. Small for outdoors. Too early to tell about features. The post is too expensive, so I improvised with PVC pole.

Shipment was so fast! I thought I knew where I wanted to place it, but after seeing the actual birdhouse, I can't make up my mind. It would look terrific in several spots in both front and back gardens. Shall I buy another?

We mounted the birdhouse on an existing pole and added a mounting platform covered in artifical grass. It makes it appear to be sitting in the middle of its own yard. It definitely adds whimsy to our landscape and gives the birds additional area for perching. We are very pleased with this birdhouse.

I bought this birdhouse for two purposes. First as a decoration at my wedding and then for the birds at our second home. We plan to seal the entire house before exposing to the elements, as recommended by other reviews.

This is one of the cutest birdhouses I own. It is very durable but I have it on the porch not outside. I am afraid the buntings may not hold up and they are what make the house for me.

It is truly adorable. I like it too much to put it outside and let the squirrels chew on it or the weather degrade it. Maybe I'll put it outside someday, but for now it's in my living room and makes me smile when I look at it. My only complaint with it is that one of the little bunting banners on the front will not hang down, it flips out horizontally. It's rolled/glued on a little dowel, so I've tried re-rolling, but so far haven't found the perfect solution. The other one is fine. No matter, it's adorable anyway.

We painted the cabin at L. Burton in the N. Ga mountains. When I saw the birdhouse in your catalog and the mounting post, I hoped I could paint it to match the cabin and place it at the waters' edge. It turned out beautifully and especially love the patriotic bunting! Goes great w the wooden flag from p&w mounted on the side of the boathouse.

This was given as a house warming gift to my son and daughter-in-law whose house which they just built is siilar to the bird feeder. Barbie also hangs the American Flag on their front porch -- so the gift was a perfect complement to their new home. I will post a photo of their home (not quite in the fnished state) but you will see the flag out front on the porch.

I really like the house but the pedestal was too short and broke while I was putting it in the ground. The wood could be stronger.

I have 10 birdhouses on porch posts all over our back yard. The 2 from Plow and Hearth look the best, very well-made.
