One of our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter's Christmas presents. She has told me for at least 2 years she wanted a big brown bear. When I saw this I knew it was perfect. She loved it but said she wouldn't let it sleep with her yet because it was scary.

This bear is the finishing touch to my wilderness themed bedroom. He looks so real laying on the bed. The first time my grandsons saw him they thought he was real. The bear does have a deformed right leg but no one is perfect. We love him. He is over priced since he is not perfect but is one of the family now.

We haven't given this bear to our grandaughter yet because it's a Christmas present. I adore this bear and I know that she will too !The face is lifelike as well as the " claws'. It is soft to hug and tall without being floppy.

I think this is really a 5 star body pillow. But I have to take just a little off cuz it is real expensive as far as body pillows go. I think it is worth it but I feel inclined to be fair and be honest. I got mine on sale and still it is a lot to pay for a body pillow. The up side is; It is one of a kind and so unusual that the cost seems negligable when you are cuddling up to it. The bear has great little details too. Like the pads on his paws and he even has little felt claws (soft ones) on the ends of his toes. His muzzle is silky soft and his fur has a nice longer length like you would expect a bear to have. One of the negatives to my old body pillow was it didn't have a wonderful textile feel to it. I had actually considered making a faux fur pillow case for my body. Then I saw these and told my husband I wanted one for a Christmas present. I left the choice to him and I am so glad he picked the bear. He is so cute! I wish I could have made it a 4.75 star, but they only give you whole stars.

The delivery was quick and efficient. I opened the box and a bit disappointed expecting something nicer for the money spent. I thought about buying another but later received a catalog with similiar items better looking at a cheaper price. Christmas will tell the story when my grandson gets it from Santa.

My son at 9 still likes to sleep with a stuffed animal. We bought this as an over-the-top surprise for him. It was a big hit!! He has been sleeping with it every night, under the covers. And when we make his bed, the bear looks adorable on his comforter. It's like a big friend greets him when he walks into his room. Great find!

I bought a black and a brown in the store (in Winston Salem, NC) and could not be happier. I noticed the black has 'claws' and the brown doesn't...NOT a fault - just a difference...between more realism and a more 'traditional' bear. As for the other reviews, I was caught up in the moment and on reflection...should have gotten a couple more. In fact, I will; I'm sure my little ones will want to take these home! I haven't looked for or at any possible defects; they appear to be huggable and well made for that purpose. It's the sort of item I would have begged for, fifty...or so years ago, something my grandchildren will enjoy as much as I continue to. You know...letting your inner child 'out' from time to time is good for you, and most likely the world around you. Also, when left to themselves the bears appear to be enjoying being (click/enlarge Photo included)...pleasant, decorative objects.

arms twisted like they are not attached correctly and the head is at an odd angle. Very dissapionted .Read other reviews that commented on the same issues. Thought maybe the problem had been resolved.

THIS IS THE BEST GIFT I EVER GOT MY SON. HE LOVES HIS BEAR AND NAMED HIM "FURRY". THE FIRST DAY HE CARRIED HIM AROUND THE HOUSE ALL DAY AND NEVER GOES TO SLEEP WITHOUT HIM. I love this adorable bear and use it as a mid-size body pillow to support leg / hip / shoulder when sleeping.
Like others, my bear has two left front paws - assuming this is either a poor design or poor assembly practice. I'm surprised that P&H doesn't remedy?

My son was so excited to get this pillow. He loves stuffed animals and just had to have this one. I thought the bear was smaller than I expected; it was thin, not overly stuffed. Then the seam on the bear's head ripped just a couple of weeks after using it. I was shocked and disappointed because I was expecting better quality for the price!

My daughters share a Queen size bed but the youger one always ends up right next to the older one. This snuggly new friend, keeps her with him on her own side of the bed!

I was expecting a lush and plush stuffed bear, but this product was neither. I bought it for a Christmas gift and I was so disappointed that I didn't have the time to return it.

When I contacted customer service, they were so helpful. Too bad the quality of the product didn't match the excellent service.

I gave each of my two granddaughters a bear, each a different color. The girls 9 & 12, said that they were really life like and they really loved them.

My daughter would tell me if they looked cheap or not and she said they were a nice quality and that they looked quite real.

Am happy with the purchase. :)

Purchased for 1 yr old granddaughter. This big bear is cuddly, fluffy, and durable. She drags it everywhere. She loves to wrestle with it. Easy care instructions. Can also be put in dryer on fluff for a few min to freshen up between cleanings.
Only negative is the price, but I am still glad we purchased it.

The quality of workmanship is very poor.
Also has 2 right legs which makes one paw upside down! It is lopsided and the whole thing looks strange not as nice as picture shown in catalog!

My son is almost 8 years old and still loves his stuffed animals very much. When he asked for a giant bear for Christmas, I really didn't know where I would find it and then I happened upon this product. We got my son the bear and my daughter the big dog. They went crazy on Christmas morning! So fun!
My son has a really hard time going to sleep at night and this big 'ol bear has been a great comfort to him and he feels protected. He loves his bear. And my daughter looooves the dog too.
