First of all I was disappointed with the weight of these and their size. VERY lightweight and smallish. Then the bulbs were Super Yellow, ugh! I ordered the white ones for a replacement and they were way too bright and stark. They do not cast a glow at all like my other window candles. It is just a spot of stark white light. Very unattractive, so I will not use these and will be shopping elsewhere for replacements.

Amongst the LED bulb market, these are pretty good. I loved the automatic timer (8 hrs on, then off) and especially appreciate the cordless feature with my toddler and old house without many outlets. I have put one in each of our windows for the holiday season. I like the steady light best, in part because constant flickering gets annoying when you are inside the house. These are not as high-quality as the ones I remember from my youth, but, they were very affordable to me given the number I needed to make things look cool, and from outside no one knows the difference. :) Thanks, Plow & Hearth!

Color not like picture

I would first like to say that I was extremely happy with these when I first opened them. They look really nice! However, once I put in the batteries and turned them on I was disappointed in the way the bulbs looked. It's more orange than I expected. It probably really does look more like a real candle, so I decided to put them in the windows and see because I really liked them otherwise. They are just too orangy for me. If you like the look of a real candle you would probably be happy but just keep in mind they look a lot more orange than the pictures in the catalog or on the website. I knew I wouldn't like the "blueness" of the white bulbs so unfortunatly I returned mine because they just weren't what I wanted. If they could come up with a bulb more off white with a yellow hue (like the pictures look) I'd purchase again.

cheap feeling

expensive for what you get, very cheap feeling compared to the "name brand" ones i am used to. i like a flickering bulb, this is just a light.
