    I thought it would keep my Pug in the back seat.
    It did keep him from going between the 2 front seats. Unfortunately? he is very smart, & went between the headrest, & the window.
    I would recommend this to owners of small, less agile or larger dogs.

        didn't fit chevy impala very tight, dog jumped over the top but did keep him in back for our long ride

          I was surprised that our Springer Spaniel, who usually tried to get up in the front seat, accepted the barrier and just laid down in the back seat. It was great, made the 14 hour drive much easier.
