The fireplace is quite attractive and appears to be well made. It fits nicely in my small space; however, the heater is quite noisy and detracts from the ambiance. I only use it in the early am to take the chill out of the room.

This is a very nice, solid, and classic looking fireplace. It can heat up the room if you so choose, and it adds charm without bulk. I purchased this solely for evening reading in the chilly months (most of them here in IL are chilly!) after kids are in bed, and the heat has been turned down. It works well, and creates a cozy atmosphere.

It took me all day to put this together, but it came out looking good. The disappointing thing is that it does not provide much heat. Better suited to a very small room. Would recommend only for the ambience, not the heat.
