Pewh...just beat German Dad by 3 hours and 51 minutes. Put together one star in just about 9 minutes. Ain`t no rocket science, folks...

When Life Gives You Lemons....

Nearly Impossible to put together. My German father, who loves to put things together, spent 4 hours pain-stakingly attaching each arm of each star together with numerous miniature nuts and bolts that required non-included special tools. He cursed his way thru the whole thing (luckily it was in his native tongue and my mother couldn't understand him.) Distressing was 'cheesy' like a machine had done it and colors were kind of odd. Anyway, after they were put together and we repainted them, they look nice and the neighbors compliment them. Go figure.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

When I saw the size of the carton left at door, I knew we were in trouble...(wish I had read comment posted by another purchaser.1. Colors not as shown(mine:Very dark maroon/black & a yellowy cream) (Surely the [*]know that USA colors are red/white and blue)!2. No mention in catalog of need for assembly, and size of screws/nuts are SO small, specialty tools required. (Good thing my husband has been a pilot & aircraft mechanic and had them & could help me).3.For the price paid for set, they should have arrived assembled and ready to hang.I would NOT recommend this product, unless you are really, really into specialized tool assembly, frustration, and cursing.
