The product looks exactly like the picture in the catalog - and that's a plus / not a "given". I am thrilled to have a unique backdrop for my new Asian Garden, upon which my pink Climbing Japanese Hydrangea will grow this spring. I can't wait! And - it's made in America.

I purchased two 3-panel sets for clematis. The construction is good for this type of trellis (approx 1" by 1/4" cedar). They are made in the USA & that is important to me.

The edges are somewhat rough & the cedar is milled to a rough finish. I lightly sanded the splinters off the edges & stained them with an oil base stain before mounting to the house with my own 2"x2" wood blocks. The mounting hardware was unimpressive. I recommend 3" deck screws to avoid black stains on cedar.

There was one board toward the center that had a two inch crack but I simply caulked the defect & it's fine.

I'm getting lots of compliments & hope to have a beaufiful green wall by the end of next Summer!

Bought two of these for use on a large blank side of our house. Thought they would be bigger and sturdier (boards are very narrow). They will look pretty, but we may need a third one to fill the space well. A little too expensive for how flimsy they are built. Will probably have to paint them to make them last in the weather.

As soon as I saw it, I knew it'd make a great headboard (K-size) for our new home @ the Ocean...in crisp white w/sea-grass green walls and ceiling w/white crown moulding....WINNER!!

When the trellis arrived the box had not been sealed on one (top) edge & the trellis was exposed, resulting in a small break at the top arch which I had to repair.
Although the design and wood are beautiful, I had to reinforce each panel with additional staples & brads for stability.
For installation, I joined the panels with lattice wood, then anchored to wall with 1 x 2's and used the provided 3" spacers. Unfortunately, only 12 spacers are provided, having the option of additional wall spacers would have been beneficial.
