At the clearance price it was worth the price. Seems sturdy and worked well for us to fill a space in a hall to drop keys, etc. Appearance is made to look antique. Would not pay full price for it.

After eyeing this for awhile, I decided to purchase at the sale price. While the product is a unique and beautiful design for folk art lovers, upon closer inspection one will find the quality is not worth paying full price. Table assembly was easy, holes and screws lined up fairly well. Hanging of the cabinet may be more of a challenge (for one person). Overall, considering I paid less for both pieces than original price of the cabinet alone, I am pleased.

Stunning Bench!

I absolutely LOVE this bench!! It is stunning and well worth the price.

My only complaints are relatively minor. The placement of the screw holes (between the seat slates) makes assembly awkward, and a bit frustrating, but once it's assembled, it's very sturdy.

Also, while the back is ornate, the rest of the bench is very simple. What this means, is that the bench seems very "delicate" and not "substantial", so it looks kind of empty/bare by itself. It doesn't seem to occupy as much visual space as I would like, although it's quite roomy & comfortable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
