Love the size for our small balcony. Very easy assembly. The product description did not say the table could not be placed outside, however, it had a very poor finish on the wood. I refinished the table before putting it outside. Even with weatherproof finish, an edge of the table top cracked and split after one week. If you have a handyman in the house, and you need a small, high table, I would recommend this. They are hard to find.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is set is easy to put together. Good instructions. We have this sitting on our deck. It is very comfortable, just the right height to view the scenery over our deck railing. The only complaint I have is that the wood is not finished and it is not a durable wood- looks like pine.
