Bought the lamp to go on the patio next to a couch. It is very nice but limiting illumination to a 13 watt CFL means only 60 Watts worth of lighting. Really wanted 100 watt to read by but bulb cover only allows for smaller CFL units.

Put this lamp in my sun room. Well made and sturdy. The bulb is a little dim. With all the weather protection in the shade area, the manufacturer should have used a brighter bulb. I will see if I need a higher watt bulb, otherwise a very nice outdoor light.

The finish on this lamp comes off with just a light touch - the lamp is already nicked and almost appears like styrofoam underneath the brown color. It also does not throw much light - do not plan to read by this lamp. It is cute though and I assume safe because it is outdoor rated.

This lamp was the perfect fit for our sunroom and compliments the wicker furniture very well. We searched high and low for a lamp to place in the sunroom, and we found the price was very reasonable.

Great for the porch and illuminates well for night time. Not good if evening or a stormy sky. Well constructed for the money and seems weather proof so far. Old fashioned style but couldn't find a modern looking outdoor floor lamp.

The lamps work great. It isn't as bright as we wanted. But I think that is the bulbs' fault and not the lamps. I am planning on switching out the bulbs. The lamps have a great heavy base and they are VERY attractive.

I was a little disappointed in that the decorative spindle at the top of the lamp is crooked. Not from operator error, just poor workmanship on the manufacture of it. But I do like the general look of the lamp, and am surprised at how well it illuminates. I think the bulb will be difficult to change, but I understand it need to be locked away and secure because it is an outdoor lamp. Great value for the money I paid, though.

It is very useful on our screened in porch and the bulbs are very adequate for reading at night.

The biggest con is that both the table lamp as well as the floor lamp are not level when assembled. We returned the first ones we purchased and just purchased another set which are also not level.

Bought the bronze floor lamp for a sunroom which gets a lot of oceans breezes and the lamp hasn't tipped yet. Don't expect a brightly lit room but it does give off a nice warm light and provides plenty of light to read if you have it next to your chair. Works beautifully with dark brown wicker furniture. Buying the matching table lamp next!

Floor lamp looked great, easy to assemble but not weighted well at all. Used it on our screened-in porch. But it blew over, shade came off, metal supports for the glass fixture broke so it's useless. Still can't decide if we should buy another.

Love this lamp; very sturdy and nice-looking. My only issue was with the 13W CFL bulb included. It gives off only very dim light. The description on this site says it can take a regular 100W bulb. I called the manufacturer to be sure, and they said that since it's an energy-efficient fixture you MUST use the 13W CFL. Using even a 60W regular bulb is too high of wattage. To get brighter light, they said to get the CFL bulb called "daylight" or "cool whilte."

I love it! It is a great addition to my back porch. I was very pleased when the day after I installed it we got a rain and wind storm and it did not blow over. I would give it five stars but there is a slight flaw on the shade but not worth sending back.

The lamps are a perfect complement to our wicker resin porch furniture. They are pretty and especially stable and weighted adequately to endure the outdoors. We were not actively looking to replace our previous lighting, but when we saw them in the catalogue, we knew they were a perfect replacement. We are very happy with our choice.

Presence of defective part made assembly impossible and therefore the unit was useless. Recently bought entire room of wicker furniture, [*], and every piece was defective in some manner and had to be returned. This appears to be the norm for products [*] --- even those of supposedly higher quality.

Exactly what I needed to replace a 34 year old set we had on our Gazebo. High quality, easy to assemble - the reports here to the contrary are really "operator error". Predict these will outlive me. Already receiving complements.

I use the lamps on my screened porch behind my gliders for seated reading at night. They provide just the right amount of light for reading (I have the white shade) yet they are not too bright for the overall lighting/atmosphere of the porch. The base is heavy enough to prevent the lamp from tipping over.

A nice lamp for our screened porch. I don't know if it was exceptionally windy this summer, but the lamp did tip over fairly often. However, due to the design, the bulb and everything were fine.
