Comments about Product: Comfortable and warm to wear around the house on hardwood and tile and durable enough to step outside with the dogs for a few minutes. Found the toes to be a goofy pointy shape, I guess due to packing, but still work just fine. Hopefully the shape will mold more to my toes as I wear them. Feel like an elf right now.
A family favorite
Comments about Product: Everyone in our fsmily has a pair and now my son's girlfriend does too. She loves them, says "they're warm and cozy". We mostly have hard wood or tile floors and we wear ours all the time.

Comments about Product: Great for lounging around in the cold weather evenings. Keeps your feet cozy warm. No more slippers falling off your feet
Hubby Loves the Wool Slipper Socks!
Comments about Product: These are the only Slipper Socks my hubby will wear - he loves them!
Warm and Comfy
Comments about Product: Bought these for my son and he loves them. He even sleeps in them
Acorn slipper socks
Comments about Product: The only problem with the socks was they were not true to size and I had to return them (they were a gift). But .... when I went to the annapolis store to return ... that was a bad experience. There were many people standing around and only one young woman even acknowledged me. I went to the register and there was one person on the phone, he sort of acknowledged me (he ended up doing the return when he was off the phone. Two other people walked up looked at me and did not say a word and walked away. I will not go back tot he store again!

BEST SLIPPER SOCk EVER
Comments about Product: MY daughter loved them. Her feet ankles get cold during the winter months.
A Treat for Cold Feet
Comments about Product: These are definitely warm and cozy. Great to wear around the house. There is tightness/pulling around the ankles which is a bit annoying at first, but overall comfort is great!
nice slipper for litte feet
Comments about Product: I love this style of slipper for the kids because once on, they stay on ! The sizing was too big for our little guy's feet, but next year is only months away !
Comments about Product: I get these all the time for gifts for people. They are the best, warmeest slipper around. I wonder though, is there any way to wash them?
Cozy Slipper Socks
Comments about Product: Husband just loved these slippers. We would purchase again.

These are awesome!!!
Comments about Product: These are great.
ragwool slipper socks
Comments about Product: [...] I am not usually a slipper person, but in the depths of winter I like my feet to be warm. These slippers do the trick while being very, very comfortable and snuggly. The could be designed better - with an actual sock shape rather than a tube sock shape that bunches at the ankles, but, regardless, they are all that's available and they are good enough for me.
Could be better
Comments about Product: These socks are good for keeping your feet warm and the foot part is comfortable but they do have drawbacks. One sock was tighter than the other and made my ankle itch. I wish the socks came up further on my legs. Both are difficult to get on and off. The foot part is better made than the leg section. If you order, maybe you will have better luck. Nice red color, good for holidays.
Acorn Slipper Socks
Comments about Product: Nice product - warm, comfortable, nice looking but watch out on the sizes. The large, medium and small sizes are Men's sizes. The small is equivalent to a Women's 9-10. If you take a smaller size in Women's such as a 7 or 8 then I suggest you order the X-Small. I had to return a pair of smalls and order an X-small. [...] I am satisfied with Plow and Hearth and this product.
Comments about Product: My father loves these. We keep a spare on hand at all times. The last pair lasted about 2 years wearing around the house. I didn't see that my father broke into his spare pair so I have to order 2-3 this year for christmas. I hope these never get discontinued I may start stalking up just in case. Have about 10-20 pairs stored away!
Comments about Product: A little too tight from the center of the ankle around the heel across the top of my foot, but not broken in yet either.
The last time I had a pair of these they were 2nd hand when I got them, but they still lasted 10+ years before the wool gave up. If I'd taken the time to find the right yarn I could have saved them but I just kept wearing them until they fell apart. I love Acorn slippers!! Very durable, warm, comfortable!!! Wish they were less expensive but I don't mind paying for quality.

Comments about Product: I highly recommend Acorn Slipper Socks. This is my second pair - my first pair having lasted me over 15 years. Acorn slipper socks are exceptionally comfortable and warm and stand up to repeated washings. They're good-looking, too!
Always a pleasure to wear....
Comments about Product: Bought these for my mom (she's a senior citizen) and remembers having a product like this years ago. She loves them ! She loves the fact that not only is the foot enclosed but you have sock covering part of your leg. I plan on purchasing her another pair.
By the rev
excellent as I had expected
Comments about Product: was exactly what i was looking for
I love them! They are not too warm.
Comments about Product: Around the house. When I walk to the mailbox

Not at all what we expected!
Comments about Product: These are basically a wool TUBE SOCK with a leather sole sewn on one side to make a bottom. When you put your foot into the sock, there is no heal definition so the leather is pulled down at the heal into the leather sole. Then the excess wool gathers up in a bunch in front of the ankle. Not very comfortable at all. Nice wool, nice leather, poorly constructed.
A great product!
Comments about Product: This sock is an all around great slipper /sock to wear..One can go from the house to outside...I wear these to bed also...I would recommend this slipper/sock to anyone who wants comfort and abilty to adapt from inside to outside
winter comfort at it's best
Comments about Product: I've been wanting these for ages and they didn't disappoint. I love something soft, warm, and comfy for wearing around the house in Fall and Winter, and these are perfect.
My husband LOVES these
Comments about Product: My husband has been wearing these his whole life (he's 58). He's not a slipper wearer, so these are a great alternative. They're soft and "cushy". We have a cabin in the North Georgia mountains and he steps outside to get wood for our indoor fire. There's not usually snow, but it can get quite cold in winter. He can wear these around the cabin, step out to the shed, and back in again without the fuss of changing footwear. They made a great Christmas present in the green color this year, since he's always had the traditional ragg-wool color. I haven't tried machine washing them yet as they haven't gotten that dirty, but I wouldn't be afraid to do so.
Comments about Product: I bought each of my adult children a pair for Christmas. They were delighted and I was even more pleased with the quality for the price. I plan on giving a pair to my daughter's fiancé for his move to Virginia.
Wonderfully comfy and warm!
Comments about Product: I have a home office and love being able to pad around in these during the cooler weather.
Tell your friends what you really want this year!

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
