For over 30 years, Plow & Hearth® has made caring for the environment a priority. Over the last 3 years, with your help, we have planted more than 3 million trees nationwide through our Campaign to Reforest America®. And we've made it our goal to plant another 1 million in the coming year. As part of our campaign we support the following programs: Our PLANTING TWO FOR ONEsm program donates two seedling for every one tree used in our catalog production. So far, we've helped plant more than 2 million trees in our home state of Virginia, and more are being planted every day.

For every purchase you make during the holiday season, we'll donate one seedling to the National Forest Foundation to be planted in a national Forest of your choice - this is our National Reforestation Program. This year forests in Idaho, Florida and Minnesota will benefit from your purchases. The seedlings donated will help restore natural habitats lost to forest fires and the effects of modern civilization. Trees provide habitat for wildlife, prevent soil erosion and most important, absorb carbon dioxide, which helps reduce global warming.
