I bought a combination of 8 different size bench cushions in the color "Chocolate". I have pre-existing benches, that were built with the deck, that run along some of the railing areas. They look very nice but sitting on a hard surface isn't very comfortable. I covered them with the cushions which I could tie down to the railing so they wouldn't move. What a difference! Color pops and cushions are very comfortable. Easy to clean off even bird poop(One of the harder stains). Now the only test left is durability and fading. Hope they last a long time but I am very pleased with the quality.

I have a cedar chest in my living room under a picture window that gets alot of sun. I am using the bench cushion on top of it and it looks great and gives me a great seat as well.

These cushions are great, good quality, fun colors. Every couple of years I purchase a new set in a different color. Plow & Hearth is the only place I can get th 36' wide bench cushion. I have an antique bench which I won't ever discard - so having new cushions is a real treat.

I bought this to be used as a seat cushion for a window seat we built in our kitchen. It fits perfectly, and the fabric cleans easily. I specifically wanted an outdoor cushion because the seat gets a lot of use and we eat a lot of meals in the kitchen. I love it and it's great!

I purchased the bench cushions for use on our benches on our covered porch. (No weathering or direct sun). The overall quality is great, but the fabric (right out of the box) looks as if it has a white film over the brick red color. It does not affect the wear, but is not the rich brick red color as pictured in the catalog photograph. I don't know if it was a reaction to the plastic packaging or if it is a defect in the fabric itself, but it may be bothersome to some people. We kept the cushions, but would ask about this problem before I ordered any additional outdoor fabric items.

We bought a wicker bench with drawers from the catalog for our kitchen. The cushion fits it perfectly and has been a useful place to sit for many reasons.

This product is on my screened-in porch where it is partially protected from weather. We recently went through the ravages of Irene here in upstate NY. That cushion got plenty wet, yet dried quickly and beautifully with no staining. I was thrilled, and wished my other cushions fared as well.

I bought it to keep my wooden porch swing covered so more guests would use it. I like the spongy softness and the blue stripe I chose looks nice against our pale gray house siding. Just wish the cat didn't like it also.

This is not my first bench cushion from P&H. I have 3 other bench cushions and 2 chair cushions. Some of these I have had for several years and I leave them out year round even in the snow. They cannot seem to wear out. I like the fact that they dry very fast after rain or sprinkler and retain their softness. My cats love them and the hair blows off easily in the wind. Also the bird droppings are easily hosed off with no stain whatsoever. Can't go wrong as long as P&H keeps making them the way they do.

We were wanting a cushion for a new yard swing. This one is just perfect: sheds water, looks really nice, is very comfortable (even for our little dogs), and it was very reasonably priced. We live in Florida, so withstanding the sun and rain is very important.
