It is much smaller than I expected, so I had to build a platform to raise it to the height I need. Metal is bad for my new brick patio, so I had to wrap the feet in plastic until my platform is ready. Too much work.

Parts were missing, so I had to buy my own, and it needs ties to secure the pieces together. There was also a broken piece.

The shelving unit goes together smoothly and is well construsted. I would have given it a 5, but the trays do not fit as securely on the shelves and can slid around.

Promptly shipped, attractive unit. I ordered the corner and straight stands (total unit as shown in the catalogue). First try, the side panels enclosed were not what was needed -- too many As and too little Bs. Called and got the replacement quickly but, while it was a side panel "B" it was not going to work because it needed to be a "left side" panel. The instructions don't show a right and left side panel for the straight unit but it cannot be assembled without them. And, upon receiving a box with every conceivable side panel (six in total), there actually is a "left" side panel that fits on the straight unit (has to be a female with connectors on the inside and leaves on the outside). So I now have the unit assembled and 7 extra side panels I do not know what to do with. I'll figure it out. Thanks to all the WONDERFUL service folks who worked with me.

This is a nice plant stand that can be used outdoors without the trays to allow for easy watering and drainage and then moved indoors with the trays to catch water for wintering.

As previously noted, the stand is fitted together vs. bolted together so is difficult to move without it all coming apart. But the assembly is easy and a one-person job so that is a minor inconvenience.

The planter is modular - you can use the straight pieces and corners in various combinations. Very nice.

Quality is good and has weathered well this year. This is exactly what I wanted as I am an avid gardener who needed a rack for starting new plants in smaller pots and for growing herbs and houseplants in small-medium sized pots outside of the kitchen door as a "cooks garden".

I move the corners of the stand around as needed to hold containers of flowers. Great on patio!

The plant stand is nice -- looks great on porch. The problem was the service to get it -- item arrived with a broken piece (one of the sides of the stand). Customer service offered to send out a replacement. Unfortunately, two times the wrong part was sent. I purchased this as a gift and sadly it took 6 weeks before I could give it to the person.

When I saw this plant stand, I thought it would be perfect for holding my outdoor plants when I brought them in for the winter. Unfortunately, most of my potted plants (gardenia, Christmas cactus, begonia) are too big for the narrow shelves. Once the trays are added, forget about it - only the smallest pots fit then.
Once the stand is put together don't think about moving it, the unit is "fit" together rather than held together with screws so the fit can come undone with slight movement.
It is a cute stand and I am using it for small plants but I will have to keep looking for something that suits my needs for the larger ones.
One friend who commented on how she'd like a unit like this has African violets and primrose plants which would fit nicely.
I am not clicking on whether or not I would recommend this to a friend as it would depend on what they were looking to use it for and it would be a bit misleading and unfair for me to say either way.

Love that I can bring my plants in from the cold, then put them out when the weather warms. Keeps everything neat, and watering doesn't go all over the floor.

The product is really good looking. But when we tried to assemble, the center support leg on the bottom broke when turning the screw. Propped the broken leg support under the stand and still used.

Summer flower pots and planters have not always had a good home for the season, but we now have everything placed, and they look beautiful. The plant stand is durable, easy to put together, and won't be blown away by the constant wind off Lake Superior. We have been totally pleased by this purchase.

We use the stands on our deck. Was not able to use the trays for my larger pots. When I could use the trays it was good to have the trays to catch the water so I did not have to water quite as much.

This plant stand is used in a sunny corner of my great room. It is size-appropriate and holds a number of my house plants. Regrettably, the stand lacked one fastener and one of the metal supports was slightly bent. We fixed it and are using it as it arrived. Trays slip...do not contain indentations for stability. Great for us...probably wouldn't recommend it for active family. Thanks

Trays serve their purpose but I wish they had small drains/holes in the bottom to allow spilled water to leak out.

Small enough to fit into the corner of my deck without being in the way. Love the three layers of shelfs -- makes it look nice. Had to move it inside during tornado threats and it was hard to move without something popping out. Besides having to move it, I love the stand.

I bought two complete sets. The stands freed up a lot of space in my yard that was dedicated to growing seedlings. We now have more play space for my daughter. I love these stands and will probably buy one more set.

Stand is very attractive and holds much more than I thought it would. My complaint is that we were missing bolts, and had to perform and operation on one of the brackets to open it up enough to take the shelf. This should not be. Obviously there needs to be more quality control in the factory where it is made. Not sure if I would recommend based on this.

Every spring through fall I buy a variety of plants to attract butterflies and songbirds to my patio. I get to enjoy the wild birds and butterflies that come and visit but it always seemed that my patio was messy with big terracota pots all over the place and no room for anything else. Not very appealing to me. I went to local gardening stores, looked through catalogs and searched an infinite amount of websites trying to find something for a small area and that would hold all my plants in one place. Most of the plant holders out there are for just one to three plants. When I saw this plant stand I knew I had found what I needed. I ordered the plant stand set (1 straight unit & 2 corner units). Customer Service was great & answered all my questions[...] Took me 5 mins to set it up. It's high quality with a green finish. It fit most of the plants including 2 vines. (42 pots in picture) It was the perfect solution for me and my small patio. I'm very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it. Now all I need are smaller decorative pots.

After looking at almost 20 other garden websites this site had exactly what I needed. I wanted a wrought iron look that was tall enough and without all the frills and scrollwork of other plant stands. This only took me 5 minutes to assemble, the finish is without paint specs or blemishes, and it looks great in a corner of my front porch. I have a lot of cacti and succulents and this complements the look of the plants. I especially like the 3-tier structure. I was a little concerned about how far it might stick out from the wall but took a chance and glad I did. I liked this so much I just ordered the straight unit that connects to it and a set of the zinc trays for the corner unit only. Great purchase and the price was just right.

shopped around looking to find something cheaper but could not find anything compared to this for the value and construction. These are easy to assemble ,very strong and sturdy.I bought the center piece and two corner pieces. They have alot of room. I am extremely happy with my purchase!!

Purchased this for use with plants, but found it's also a handy shelf for other collectibles, which is nice. It's also durable enough to withstand snow and wind. Even purchasing only the corner unit, there is ample space to hold things.

I searched for a long time to find what I wanted, and this is it! It fits perfectly in the corner of my small deck, and the tiered structure enables it to hold a lot of plants without taking up a lot of room. Very sturdy, yet lightweight and easy to move.
