I actually have a different, smaller compost bin, but I couldn't find the size I needed. I was able to cut these down to the right size very easily, and they're doing the job nicely.

I purchased the bags to use with my kitchen compost crock. I expected to be able to use the bag as a liner and then just pull it out and compost. However, the bags are so thin that they tear just taking them out of the box. I love the idea of biodegradable but it just didn't hold up to the task.

These new compostable bags are so flimsy they tear apart just trying to separate them from the roll. What a waste! The bags you had previously were MUCH better!

Use product in kitchen compost pot. Currently sold bags compost quickly but are a too flimsy, tear easily when trying to separate from roll and tear when removing from pot. I loke this composter better than the previous ceramic one I had -- more capacity, just as easy to empty and to clean (if not easier),and it blends in with all the other stainless steel in my kitchen. It works and I like the design -- what more can you ask for?

I was dissapointed that these bags ripped so easily. I guess that makes them easier to compost. I liked the idea of just throwing out the entire content of the crock without dumping out a messy bag. These don't hold up while collecting scraps.

These bags are a horrible. I'm glad I only bought one box. They tear too easily and it seems like they actually start to biodegrade in the canister, before they make it to the composte pile, leaving a mess.

I've had it for about 6 months. Does the job I bought it for. Sometimes I forget to empty it on a regular basis. By the time I remember, it smells pretty bad in there. I'm happy to say, the odor stays inside the canister. The bags are a waste. They tear too easily. I've stopped using them and just scrub it after each emptying. The only real complaint about the canister, is the lid. The seam around the inside of the lid has begun to open. Nothing a hammer won't fix.

More times than not the second bag rips when I pull apart at the perforation. I try to be gentle, but have still ripped into the second bag and made it unusable. Very disappointed since I am only able to use about 2/3 of box due to how easily bags have ripped.

My stainless compost pot sits on the kitchen counter within easy reach of either of our 6 family members. The 1.5 size lasts us for a few days without having to empty it (squish it down to make more room in the pot). I am thrilled it eeks no odors! It is nice to look at too! Now if it could walk out to our compost pile and turn itself, that'd be awesome. VERY PLEASED!

The product is great. It makes disposal of my kitchen waste very easy. I just pull out the bag and take it to my compost site and that is it. My compost jar stays nice and clean.

I was disappointed in this product. I thought it would be a great solution to making composting easier; however the bag breaks very easily spilling contents before you can get it outdoors to the compost area! The bags were pricey, and since they don't get the job done, they are NOT worth the price.

Once you fill the pot, you cannot get the bag out without ripping it apart. The top opening is smaller than the base, so when you try to lift out a bag full of kitchen scraps, it gets stuck. Quite annoying. This could be the worst designed product ever sold. It is dysfunctional and essentially unuseable.

Kitchen scraps are easily collected in stainless steel container and this is the best part, the straight sides make it soooo easy to remove the scraps without tearing the biodegradable bags. No mess, no odor, no more searching for a suitable compost container for our kitchen. We've tried a plastic and a ceramic, urn-shaped one, but this is the one for us!

Bought two boxes of these but wish we'd only gotten one. We have a small trashcan that we use for composting. We keep it under the sink and decided to get these bags to keep the liner clean. THese bags are very thin - they rip easily when you remove them from the box and tear off one, and then if the bag gets too full/heavy, it tears when you are taking it to the composter.

These compost bags are convenient, because they keep me from having to clean my container as often, but out of the first 3 I have used, 2 have torn when I was getting them out of the box. I know they have to be thin to break down easily, but these are very weak.

Design is poor. The opening/top is smaller in diameter than the crock. So when full, the bag can not be removed easily...it usually breaks.

I have already sent this pot back. It was impossible to pull the bio-bag full of scraps out of the pot as the opening is so much more narrow than the body of the pot. We have a family of five and filled up the pot quickly and it was just too frustrating to try and pull the bag out. We ended up turning the pot over and dumping everything out each time.

I purchased rhe Compost Crock several years ago and can only find the biodegradeable bags and filters at Plow and Herth. My garden loves the compost and the landfill doesn't get my household waste. Everyone should try it!

I was told [...] that the Honey Pot would be fruit-fly proof but it is not, so I was quite disappointed. I have to put a paper towel under the lid to keep them out!

I haven't actually opened this roll of bags yet, but have been using this brand of bags for quite some time. It's great not having to wash my crock every time I empty it and I think they help keep those pesty little flies away. You do need to be careful in tearing the bags off the roll; they can tear. All in all, though, I really do like them!

It's beautiful, but we found the rounded shape not pratical. When it gets full, the bag is not easy to remove due to the opening being smaller than the middle and it causes the bio bag to rip. We'll be returing ours and getting a cylinder type. It's too bad, because it's a beautiful pot, attractive on our counter and works great except for the shape.

I LOVE this Crock! It looks great on my countertop and the charcoal filter keeps all the smells inside. It's super easy to take outside to empty into our big compost bin!

I thought this would be a good way to throw out food items, put them in a compost bin after 3-4 days. But at day 3 there wew so many gnats in the kitchen I put up fly strips and placed the crock under the sink. Two days later when I went to empty it (we were using the liners as well) there were maggots all over the lid, it the air filter, and all around the inside. I am moving this out side where it will stay, it kind of dedeats the purpose of getting it. We wanted some where close to throw bio garbage away.

I thought it would be good to use bags so that I could just take that out to compost pile, but they are too hard to get out of honey pot when full. Easier to just take the whole thing outside and rinse it before next use.
