Small birds love this feeder! It has been used by them all winter. I wish they made a similar one for spring and summer. I did buy a couple as gifts with a solar light in the hat which I understand didn't work (hat didn't light up) so I would stick to the one shown above.

This feeder is so fun--I receive many compliments on it since hanging it at my bird feeding station. Some of the black oil sunflower seeds do spill out, but that is really okay since many birds are ground feeders, and it is a little treat for the squirrels. We've had a very snowy winter this year and it works so well keeping the seed dry.

Bought it for my 3 year old nephew for christmas to watch birds feeding outside his living room window. Not sure he knew it was for the birds, but the way he was playing with it, dragging it around the house and banging it on things, it seems pretty durable. It may never make it outside for the birds.

My chickadees, nuthatches and finches are really loving the little snowman. Nice to have a cute feeder hanging out my kitchen window. Nothing boring with this one and the birds really do seem to prefer it.

I think some of the 4 legged critters will be able to get the hat off and get into the seed or turn it upside down and empty it but it is so cute I can't wait to put it out and see what happens

We bought two of these feeders, and the goldfinches, chickadees, and other clinging birds flocked right to them. Worried that they wouldn't look as festive when filled with black sunflower seeds, but they look great.

It is good looking, cute, but I get too many squirrels eating the seed, so it seems a waste of money to fill it as the birds don't get much.

Really cute, but hard to fill and the sunflower seeds just fall right through the mesh, so you waste alot of seed.

The birds Loved this feeder filled with sunflower seeds or any seed mix. Squirrels did not bother with it. It will last a long time because it is made of metal.Well worth the money, Glad I bought it!

We bought it for a Christmas present for my sister - in -law, a lover of birds and snowmen. She put it up the day after Christmas and is still using it. It is easy to fill and holds enough that it doesn't need filling everyday. The birds love it and the squirrels have been frustrated. Sorry squirrels, you will have to use the 'cheaper' feeders.

very unique- looks great in the trees the birds love it. It does only take the larger sunflower seeds though. The birds really enjoy it.

its cute but all the trim falls off birds really don't like it as well as other feeders and after the eyes and buttons falls off it is just a blank feeder that is not a snowman

My mother-in-law loves it! She used it all winter, well past Christmas season. She says that it drains well, so the snow and rain don't make the feed too mushy for the birds to ear, and the shape doesn't allow for the squirels to atack it either.
