Battery-Operated Single Window LED Window Candles

I put them together, have 12 windows in my house, put one in each, and forget about them. They go on and off as stated. No hastle, attractive, light weight Everyone comments on them.

I read all the reviews before ordering therefore I knew they were coming with the yellow lights and also I ordered replacement white bulbs that I have not used yet. Yes they are more yellow than other brands and are not as bright as some of the neighbors which has worked out well as they don't keep me up during the night. I love that - others were so bright I felt like the lights were on in the house. Also I love the timer and no cords. Not once has one fallen off the window. With a cord version in the past, one fell and actually singed the carpet - scary!

I ordered 32 of them, 8 sets of 4. One for each window. I lined them up and put all the batteries in, and unscrewed the bulb a little so they wouldn't go one yet. Then I quickly screwed in all 32 bulbs at 4:45pm when I wanted them to all go on. Now they all go on and off like dominoes falling. :)

I ordered these in the darker brass color, very nice! I think these work well, however, the color is not what you would call "Christmasy" at all, and probably could best be described as "Halloweeny". So if you are looking for a great candle for Halloween, these are your best bet!

I am very disappointed that the color was not as described, or as pictured. I did read the reviews, and I only purchased them because some people are color blind and I really thought maybe I would get lucky. No such luck.

PLEASE get these lights in a lighter yellow color - 2-3 shades lighter than this orange would be fine. Then I would purchase them again.

Two of the four candles go through batteries constantly. One of them needs new batteries every other day. I assume it's defective and probably should have returned it. I have bought better candles in the past.

this was something I was looking forward to using to replace my corded candles. I saw that it was a soft "yellow" and thought that would be ok. unfortunately, they are a bright orange! I drove home this evening and was appalled at the color. I just ordered the white replacement bulbs and hope they won't look too blue as others have reported. if I had not thrown away the original packaging, I would have returned them. Why was the bulb color not a choice in the first place; that should have been a clue!

I love these candles. Once you put the batteries in and turn the bulb they're all set. No more extension cords or forgetting to turn all the candles on each night. Thank you!

I purchased 12 of these candles and just love them. They are in the windows of our lake home. I prefer the warm glow of the yellow/orange to the white candle lights that many of the neighbors have. All candles go on and off at the same time as expected. These candles are a classy & easy Christmas decoration. My husband (who hardly ever comments on decoration I use) even expressed how much he likes the look of the candles in the window. I just purchased 8 more of the same candles for the remaining windows.

Although the candles are not as bright as others, the ease of setting up (no wires, extension cords for the dogs to get caught in), and the automatic on-off make them my favorites. My package arrived just before the weird October snowstorm and the candles came in very handy while we were without power for eight days. Because the bulbs are LEDs, the batteries last a long time.

I love the idea, and the candlestick looks beautiful, but the stock bulb (says yellow, but looks orange) is very fake looking, not a look I like at all. Was planning to get the white replacement bulbs, but they are out of stock, AND thankfully I lookee other posts which say they look blue and are not so nice either! Plus, replacment bulbs are expensive based on how much I spent already to get the set. I am returning these and probably going to use my old faithful corded candlesticks. I am very disappointed - great concept- just improve the bulb color.

I purchased these a year ago and was initially rather disappointed. The orange bulbs these candles come with are simply horrible. They are too dim and too orange to appear inviting. The "white" bulbs are actually more blue than white. They are okay, but nothing like real candlelight.

That said, I have a big Victorian house with lots of tall double windows. To light my home, I use 30 of these candles. No, that isn't a typo. 30 of them. And a year later, despite the blue-white color of the replacement bulbs, all of the candles still work perfectly. The batteries do need to be changed about every four months, but the lights all come on and shut off within 10 minutes of each other, every day. They have stood up wonderfully to frosty window panes, a splash of rain, the heat of the summer sun and the antics of three crazy cats and an energetic puppy. It is possible the plastic construction isn't such a bad thing.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I do think these candles are worth buying, even though I am not totally happy with the bulbs. It was hard to get 30 of them to work at first, although the manufacturer happily replaced the defective bulbs. Once I had them working, there has been no problem other than wishing they gave off warmer light. Despite the blue-white color, I have gotten many compliments on the lights. Many people do seem to prefer them over the yellow-white candles some neighbors use.

I was so excited when I bought these! I've always wanted a single candle in the window at the holidays. We bought a colonial style house this year and I was thrilled to find these candles. I put batteries in the first one and was put off by the very fake looking orange light. Luckily I had bought the white replacement bulbs "just in case". So, i replaced all the bulbs and happily put them in my windows. The timer feature works great...no complaints there. And then I went outside to see how my house looked...expecting to see warm and inviting lights. Well, instead I saw very fake looking lights with a blue cast to them. I looked across the street at my neighbor's beautiful lights with envy. I looked back at my house with sadness and disappointment but decided to give it a day or two. Both my husband and daughter seemed to like them more than I did. Day 2...went out in daylight, came back in dark. Happy to see the lights came on...unhappy to see their ugly color. They just cost too much to keep something that I'm not satisfied with. I'm sending them back. Oh...and the light is SO bright in the house that I could barely fall asleep in my bedroom and considered turning it off!

so far so good... the lights seem durable and good since i have kids and they can access the lights, but they are definitely ORANGE. one didn't work, but i had ordered 2 extra.

i'm not really happy about that and i wasnt given an option to change the color.... might have to return them :(

Appearance and quality better than expected from previous reviews. Ordered the white replacement bulbs, but the light was too cold and fluorescent looking. The stock amber bulbs look much better in my old house's windows.

I have been looking for LED candles for the front windows of my house all over the web. I wanted some very specific attributes: 1) timer not triggered by dusk 2) LED 3) No flicker 4) Yellow/orange colored light 5) Bright enough to see from the street in my windows.
These candles meet all the needs. I even ordered some from another site but had to return them. These, I am keeping. I tried them out the night they arrived and absolutely love them. I have the yellow/orange lights. The yellow/orange color is what I wanted and it is very bright. I also ordered 2 of the replacement white lights just to see what they looked like but I did not like them. Still a little blue so I am sticking with the orange. There are two sets of these lights here on the web site, and they appear like they are the same thing. They are not. Be careful. These I originally found in their mail catalog and the description in the catalog said these were "new" and "brighter" than previous years. So if brightness is a concern for you, make sure you order the correct candles.

Overall size and quality of candle were as expected. The problem is that the bulb glows with a really bright orange color instead of a more realistic, softer white. The overall look is not inviting. Given how expensive the replacement bulbs are, I've just decided to return them. Have already found some others at the same price from a different online store that I will try.
