I have a garden raised about a foot high. When I bend over to weed my back starts hurting and I can't finish. With this bench I was able to sit and do all the weeding at one time. It is high enough that it is not hard to stand up. It would be nice if the seat were a little deeper front to back as would give a little more stabiltity to the bench.

Really like this, but find that it may be a bit too tall to lean over and work for me. Will be excellent resting spot for breaks when using the kneeler to work and handles to help me get up off the ground when the old knees complain!

I'm able to do things around the house now I haven't been able to do for years due to bad knees & back. The garden kneeler is lightweight so I can carry it with me. I was able to install new handles on cupboards & drawers using it which I have wanted to do for many years. It is very easy to push myself up using the handles on kneeler...I was even able to kneel down and clean bathtub which I've had my grand chuldren do for years. The Garden Kneeler has literally changed my life for the better!!

I saw this kneeler/seat in the catalog & in the store but didn't buy it. But when I had to have my son help me up off the stool I was sitting on while trying to weed by leaning over in a sitting position I went back to the store & bought it. It was the best investment I have made for gardening. I weeded two flower beds in short order. It was so easy lowering myself onto the kneeler & getting up. I highly recommend this product.

Husband former contractor with Parkinson's. It helps in kneeling and pulling his body to a standing position, He uses it constantly in major home remodeling projects. Only one problem, the seat covering punctures easily making it a bit problematic with nails, etc. We would still buy it for the help it has given him.

Wish a bit more strength in the frame when using the kneeler as a seat when in the kneeling position. A bit flimsy when using rails to push yourself up.

I use the bench to sit on while I trim up my flower pots. The kneeler is great for weeding - and I flip it over and sit on it in "low" position when I need a rest.
Only complaint is that I've had it for only a couple of months and one of the cushions is unclued/coming off. Minor but annoying. Overall I am happy with it and would buy it again.

This is wonderful tool. It comes fully assembled and opens and closes easily. It's easy to store because it folds up. It is sturdy and well made. The cushion is very thick and soft, and the bars make getting up from the ground very easy. Great for pulling weeds and planting flowers but also great for heavy cleaning or painting of floors and baseboards. I bought two - one for me and another for my mom.

This product has been great as a light weight moveable stool seat. It does not, however, help me or my back as a kneeling bench. I am still very glad I ordered it.

My parents had one of these years ago that lasted them several decades, so I bought one. Within a few days of receiving it, the pads started falling off. I hadn't even used it! There was some kind of sticky glue on them, but it wasn't working properly. The pads fell into some dry leaves, now the pads won't stick to the frame. I would exchange it if I knew the next one would be better. But since I discarded the packaging, it will be a hassle, so I'll probably just duct tape the pads back on.

I ordered this to help my back when I am doing lots of gardening. The first one I received had the foam pad fall off when I pulled it out of the box. I sent it back and ordered replacement. I saw the first one had very little area for the glue used to keep the pad stuck to the seat.

I assumed something was missing that was to help the seat attach to the kneeler (besides a little thin piece of metal and glue). Unfortunately the second one came just like the first and the foam fell off this one too. It does work to sit on and garden and is light but you will have to figure out how to get the pads to stay on some other way.....I used very long plastic pull ties.... it is working just not quite like pictured. I did keep the second one and am using it and I do like it other than the pads fall off all the time unless I have something to hold them on better than the glue they used.

I am sorry about the exclusions, since cost was my only downside. It's comfortable and convenient, and I have found it handy wherever I need a seat.

The item is very useful. Unfortunately, the manufacturers didn't spend too much time with the quality of the item. When I first received this item I had to return it because it wasn't assembled properly. And when I received the second one the pads fell off!!!

I find this helpful as we get older to get up and down when gardening..However, my two pads (top and bottom)came unglued..I did not collapse it because I found it stiff and a little hard to fold up. Maybe after uses, it gets easier to fold up,but I leave mine unfolded all the time until season ends. I gave it three stars feeling the construction could be a little better.

I so loved the kneeler for close to the ground weeding. However, after the second day of using it, I found the underneath seat half-way detached from the metal frame. How amazed I was to discover that the seat was attached to the frame in the manner of a "sticker"--not attached with screws. I stored it away, after pushing it back onto the frame, with the lower seat now on top. When I went back to use the kneeler, the cushion now on the bottom was becoming detached. We also bought an additional kneeler for a gift and I'm distressed that this poor construction might be disappointing the recipient also. Has this happened to anyone else? I want to be able to recommend this product, it is so great for comfort while gardening, but the seat issue is clouding my opinion.

Great product but pads are not secure. We purchased 2 kneelers and kneeling pads fell off both of them. Duct tape now secures the pads to the kneeler.

Got this for my husband who has a new knee and hip but still keeps up with his flower and vegie gardens. He loves this seat and now can get down on his knees with ease and then flip the seat over to take a rest. He is a happy camper with this kneeler/seat!

This kneeler would be great if the pads didn't keep falling off. They are only glued on and the glue doesn't hold at all. Every time I turn it over, one of the pads falls off. Also, I cannot for the life of me fold it up. It's too tight. Very disappointed in those 2 things. Otherwise, it would be great.

My initial satisfaction with the kneeler gave way to disappointment when the pads fell off. THe pads are just glued to the frame, NOT a successful method. I got two, one for myself and another for a Mother's Day gift. Both had the same problem, as did their replacements. I am sending them all back for a refund. I would try again if a better attachment system is implemented because I otherwise liked the product.
