These peanuts are the best. Other companies call theirs "jumbo and salty" and that their from Virginia. But NO! No others taste like these. Trust me, I know.

I have been buying these peanuts for over ten years and there was a significant decline in quality of both the peanuts and the packaging in this past year. The new plastic lid (used to be a snap in metal lid) does not keep the peanuts nearly as fresh and the peanuts were smaller and not as high quality. The peanut quality may have just been due to a bad season but the packaging change makes a big difference in long term quality. In the past I would highly recommend these to everyone but no more.

I always bought the P&H peanuts because of the taste and they were nice and large. I was quite disappointed to open the container to find normal sized peanuts. The size and taste made the extra cost worth it, but at this size I might as well but the less pricey peanuts at the grocery store.

I love the unsalted peanuts. I keep them in the nut dispenser I purchased from you folks. When I get a few hunger pangs, the small amount of peanuts dispensed carries me over. If I were to reach inside a bowl or bag of peanuts I would take way too much, a normal thing.
The flavor of the peanuts is par excellence.

I have ordered and eaten the unsalted P&H peanuts for many years. This year the peanuts were of lower quality, size and do not taste as good. Maybe my tastebuds are changing, but I still think the peanuts are no longer of the same high quality.

I bought these for my dad to go with the dispenser that I got from Plow and Hearth for Father's Day. Virginia peanuts are his favorite so I bought the honey roasted for something different. They were delicious peanuts but sometimes too big to dispense well since they weren't a consistent shape or size. Although they seemed a little pricey, I found out that the taste and crunchy texture did set them apart from the usual peanuts so probably worth the money. My dad loved them and thought the whole idea was fun and unique. It's what I'm noted for in my family so I'm glad I have places like Plow and Hearth to offer creative ideas that are good quality.
