I had to send the product back because I wasn't happy with the imperfections on the back of the drapes. I would have liked a fuller look & should have order a double wide but I am hestitate to order again because I am not sure if I will see more imperfections & added cost for shipping.

I have bought several pairs of these curtains before and loved them. Our 140 year old house needs all the draft stopping protection I can get. However these that I ordered just before Thanksgiving STILL have creases and wrinkles. Now that the holidays are over I can find time to press all 8 panels. They do make a difference in light and drafts but am not pleased at all with the quality of the fabric. Curtains that I ordered 5 years ago still look good and better than the new ones.

When I first opened the box, I was a little dissappointed with the color (I ordered the Khaki) because I could not tell that there was a light blue stripe in the pattern. Once they were hung, they made such an improvement in the look of the room, the blue stripe didn't matter any more.

I read other reviews that said they were impossible to get the wrinkles out of. The wrinkles are definately there; however, with a really hot heavy iron (I am a quilter, so I have a high quality iron), the wrinkles came right out. I tried to steam one pair in my steam dyer but it didn't make a big difference and still needed to be ironed - so, just buck it up and get out the spray bottle and iron. Once you are done, you won't be sorry you took the time up front!!

I have ordered from Plow & Hearth before and have been very pleased, but must say this time-truly disappointed. The terra cotta color that I ordered looked very washed out, I ordered the 84" drapes and honestly felt they were at least 4-5" too short. I only opened one pkg. and sent the whole box back. It appeared they would certainly block the cold but appearance was very drab.

Like the fabric and easy-to-hang design. Second order of same item number, color, and length arrived at least an inch longer than 1st order of 2 pair whose lengths matched perfectly.
Disappointed that lengths (though ordered same as original order) were not in reality the same length.

I didn't need them for blocking out so much light, just enough to take the edge off and it did that with no problem. I didn't even have to press these,
there were worth every penny. Beautiful! Perfect length, so I didn't have to hem them. Thank you ! Plus they dressed up the living room, which I liked.

I had these pressed by a professional and they couldn't get all the wrinkles out. Packageing is to small and to tight.

I needed an insulated, easy-to-move "door" to my living room when I use the room air conditioner. This works perfectly. It blends well enough with the other room furnishings and paint that I can leave it up year around.

I've been looking for room darkening curtains for a year to block the morning sun. These work well, and also have insulating value in the winter. Color matches on all 3 pair.

I am pleased with this purchase. I purchased the khaki and sage drapes for my bedroom. They are a nice, heavy weight, and they block out the light and heat nicely. The colors are as depicted in the photos. The quality is good, and I have not experienced any problem with the backing peeling away as some reviewers have. However, there were two problems. First, the sage drapes are 3-4 inches longer, so they drag somewhat on the floor. I know that I could have returned them, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping them back. The bigger problem was that they were very heavily wrinkled when I got them. I spent an entire afternoon ironing and steaming them. Overall, I like them and would recommend them...but don't expect to take them out of the package and hang them. You'll need patience and a hot iron.

I purchased these curtains in the chocolate color for use in my living room as it gets direct sun most of the day. As thermal curtains, they work very well, I like the grommet design, and the fabric is nice and heavy. However, when I washed them, according to the instructions, and rehung them I realized they had shrunk by 2+ inches. This meant they no longer fit the window dimensions and were now worthless.

I called Plow and Hearth customer service and they sent two new sets for free. If you've purchased these please know they are NOT suppose to shrink at all. RETURN them if they have.

I would recommend these with the caveat that you should not wash them.

The insulating material on the back of one of the panels came off in pieces when we removed it from the wrapper, which leaves distortions in the fabric when you look at the panel.

These curtains were exactly what we were looking for, the style, the color, blocking out the light. I would highly recommend this product. They did come out fairly wrinkled, but with time they have diminished. Love the curtains, even the price was good.

I chose these curtains because they looked like a good solution for four sets of oversized patio doors. The length seemed fine at first, but then I noticed that the seam creating the double wide curtain was bulky and bunched up, making the center of each side about an inch shorter than the other parts of the curtain. The color was yellowish rather than a natural tone, These curtains made everything in the room look cheaper. I was very disappointed.

Purchased 2 pair for corner windows, one set was longer than the other and had very small hole, was disappointe but had thrown away all the packaging so I just planned to have them hemmed. I ended up ordering another pair as I wanted them to look fuller-- I explained the length/ hole prob to Frances (sales rep) and she is sending out replacement. Thank you for good service and fun quality items.

I am using these curtains in my living room. The fabric/pattern/color is as pictured/described. However, I ordered 2 pairs, and although both packages are MARKED as 63 inches long, 1 pair is at least 3 inches longer than the other. I am not happy, and probably will not order anything from Plow and Hearth in the future.

These are beautiful curtain panels. I was looking for something reasonably-priced and machine washable to over my family room patio doors. I needed at least 105 inches for each panel, so the double-width was perfect. They are a bit wrinkled, and the wrinkles are tricky to steam out, but overall, I am very pleased!

I use these attractive insulated drapes in an unorthodox fashion to solve doorway draft problems in doorways I don't close because my dog and cats need access! I have one between the kitchen and service porch area, which is unheated, and another attached to the service porch door itself, which contains a large pet door. My rescue dog has separation anxiety and putting the drape in the bathroom door lets her come in while giving me privacy. I don't know what I would do without this product and am thrilled I discovered this off-beat use for them!
