I wasn't able to figure out real quick how to use the pulls to secure the cover on the place - the instruction which comes with the cover is real brief. But once I figured, it worked fine. Our firepit ("Dancing bears" from P&H) was outside all the summer long, there were a lot of rain, but no water or dirt got under the cover.

These should be replaced with a stretchy, sturdy bungee with a fastener to secure the cover in place, strong enough to withstand a windstorm.
