I'm reviewing the replacement flag pole sent to me to replace the first one that arrived with significant damage to the wood pole itself. First I should say Plow and Hearth promptly sent the replacement out after I reported the problem and they did so without a squawk. However, it doesn't change the fact that the heart of this assemblage, the flag pole, is poorly constructed of materials totally inadequate for its purpose. As such, regardless of the quality of the flags in the set, the overall value for the cost suffers greatly. To the point I couldn't recommend it at all to anyone unless it is to be used indoors only. But what's the sense in that?
