living on Long Island NY...and fighting the high cost of oil...we had installed a high efficiency wood burning stove to help keep costs down...i currently own 4 racks...in process of ordering 2 more. these racks are scattered nicely throughout our yard. they serve an obvious purpose, and look nice...very slight rusting is visable, but moving forward i will apply an additional protective coating before using again for the new season...no problem. great product!

I was very excited when I opened the box for the Small Decorative Heavy-Duty Steel Wood Rack. As I began putting it together, I noticed the whole plug on one of the legs was blocking the hole to connect my supports...as I pulled the plug out - it came apart. Ok, I'll notify Plow & Hearth to get another one. Then after putting it completely together I noticed it was not "square" on the corners. One of the crossbars is considerably shorter than the other. This is the 2nd item I ordered from Plow & Hearth this year, and the 2nd item I probably should return. I will reconsider buying from Plow & Hearth in the future.

My husband and I needed something to hold our firewood for the season. Our firewood rack arrived very quickly, and it was extremely easy to put together. Very sturdy, keeps the wood off of the ground, and the cover we purchased was very well made. Don't know how we got along without it before!

Wish the cover were still available. I had to postpone ordering because I was going out of town. When I returned, the cover was out of stock and now I see it's not even offered. Oh, well, never had our wood covered before. This is a wonderful rack and adds to the ambiance of my small patio. Elevating the wood stack helps keep things clean! Assembly without another person was a bit tricky, but I got it done!

Arrived promptly, was easy to assemble, sturdy and looks great. (And I do give give bad reviews if warranted) I now have four, but will probably add two more as I burn a fireplace fire almost nightly. I usually use about 1 1/2 cords a winter, but have to order full cords first of autumn (before my supplier runs out as I live in the country).

This was perfect for our use. We just built an outdoor room with a fireplace and needed something to keep enough firewood for 3-4 fires close since the bulk of the wood is stored at a further place on our lot. The design is attractive, it was easy to assemble, and it appears to be very durable.

I purchased two of these... one for myself and one as a gift. Mine is outside next to our firepit. It works great and is attractive without being too fancy for a firepit. It holds more wood than I expected and we are very pleased.
The one for my newphew is kept outside on his deck and he is also very pleased with the appearance and function.

I am very pleased with this product. Assembly was easy, and it seems very sturdy once all put together. I really like the design of the firewood rack. It's rather elegant looking. I'm also very happy with how high off the ground the wood is. I'd say I have about 6 inches of clearance beneath the wood rack.

This wood rack was purchased as a gift for our son, who has the matching large wood rack already. Perfect for right outside the back door to hold logs for the fireplace. Functional and attractive enough to have right on the patio. It's just what we expected from Plow and Hearth!

Assembly was easy and it's very nice looking. As indicated above, there aren't enough cross braces on the bottom to stack short logs on the lowest layer -- they'd fall through the holder to the floor. But as long as you have a good number of logs at least 18"s of length, you're all set.

Bought as a housewarming present and the recipients loved it! The simple design with elegant curves makes it stylish and able to fit in with any other fireplace motif.

Had looked at hundreds of other firewood racks prior, and I am glad I went with this one.

Now that the family I bought the rack for had a baby they keep it outside for safety reason. Seems to be holding up well in the harsh winter conditions we've been having.

I bought two (2) of the small racks placing them on either side of my fireplace. They are attractive as well as durable. I fill both with firewood, and have enought wood for an all day fire, as well as wood to spare. Having 2 racks made it so much easier to build a fire, and this winter I used two (2) chords of firewood. I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the small size of this rack for my husband for a gift. He has carried wood for 30 years and now has trouble walking and lifting. The rack works very nicely on our small front porch under an overhang. It holds enough wood for a few days in our wood insert. Now he does not have to use any steps to bring wood in to start a fire. We can even get the wood while we are in our pajamas.
