I bought the 6'7"x9'6" rug in the brown "leaf" pattern a little over two years ago and was very happy with my purchase. The pattern (with various shades of brown/beige/cream) is subtle yet distinctive, and very attractive for an outdoor rug.

It held up extremely well for the first year under my covered patio, but then a hail storm damaged the cover, which exposed portions of the rug to the elements for several months. During that time, it began to rapidly deteriorate... fraying in several places along with some pattern fading. Even though the patio cover has been repaired, those few months of partial exposure seem to have taken their toll and I'm now looking for a replacement rug.

I guess what I'm saying is... IF you are planning to use this rug in a covered area, then by all means buy it!! However, if it will be exposed to the elements you should probably be prepared to replace it in a year or two.

The only reason why I would not recommend it to a friend is that it's a bit pricey for an outdoor rug that doesn't seem to hold up very well in a true outdoor environment.

The first rug had a serious flaw that should have been obvious with the most cursory inspection. I called and it was picked up and replaced promptly.

The new rug was fine and I'm pleased with it. It's light weight and easy for me to handle. It lies flat, looks good, does not retain impressions of my rocking chairs the way the sisal rug I had before did. And, when my cat scratches it, nothing happens. No threads come loose.

This rug looked like exactly what I was looking for, nice design, the color combo I liked, was supposed to be outdoor/indoor. It fell apart in less than a year - it did get direct sun for part of the day. Friends even commented on how little time it lasted. The spot doesn't get a lot of regular traffic. Very disappointing.

Had this on a covered deck since May 2011, 2 months later still going strong! The only thing I have noticed is slight fraying at the long end of the rug, the area that gets the most traffic. Otherwise, the geometric in Brown really compliments my deck furniture that has brown/tan cushions-would buy again!!

I bought this as a replacement rug for my covered patio. The colors are much more vibrant than they appeared in the catalog, making the rug prettier than I expected! Most of the outdoor rugs I've previously purchased from other stores were stiff and "scratchy", however, this rug feels very smooth and almost soft to bare feet. It is also very easy to clean; which I found out after my husband spilled coffee on it 2 days after putting it down. The coffee wiped right off, leaving no stain. Great value, great product!

We bought 2 of these in different patterns to place inside our front and kitchen doors - to cover hardwood floors. It looks better than the picture on-line and I love the way they look - but they slide around and I fear will be a safety hazard. I would consider buying one in an outdoor area, under a table, etc. It is very well constructed and beautiful - just wish it had a non-skid backing. Will return based on what I bought it for.
