It makes great chocolate as well as cappucino and it's quick. The beverage is just the right temp. for drinking when you serve it up. I guess IF there is anything at all I don't like about it, it's the fact that it doesn't hold very much, especially if you are using large mugs to serve in. Of course it doesn't take long to brew so you can just brew another batch no problem. Great for the money.

Our 15 year old nehpew LOVED this gift. He received every type of high priced tech gift too but this was the one he paid the most attention to. We also purchased the cocoa and peppermint stir sticks sold by Plow and Hearth on here and they were the perfect accompaniment. I think my mother in law was jealous she didn't get one!! He promptly whipped up a cup of cocoa for all 10 of us while we opened up our gifts. I've been told he makes cups of cocoa every morning and brings it to each family member. So easy too! He didn't read the directions but had it working in about 30 seconds. They said no trouble with clean up either! We are buying one for our house too now.

I bought this for my three boys for Valentine's Day and they love it! It makes delicious, frothed, perfect temperature for drinking, hot cocoa. And the pot is easy to clean which is a plus for me. Fun treat for when they have friends over to play. Wish the cold weather wasn't coming to an end. We'll look forward to the fall when we can start using it again.

The. Cocoa maker is fun. My 12 year old enjoys making cocoa for everyone. The motor portion of the maker gets a layer of cocoa that is very difficult to clean. Love the easeog use and quality of the product.

Makes mixing hot drinks easier but mixes tend to settle out and stick to the bottom. Much easier than heating on the stove. Got one for my daughter-in-law and she loves it.

I bought this machine for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. She absolutely loves it!! It makes 4 cups of cocoa at a time, which is enough for her and her three daughters. She says the cocoa comes out perfect -- perfect taste, perfect temperature!

I make hot cocoa in the machine for the grandkids--boys from the ages of 10 to 17 and they love it. I can't seem to get the dispenser apart to clean it like it says to. I will eventually try some of the recepies.

I considered for a microsecond giving this 4 starts instead of 5 ONLY because of the few extra minutes it takes to make sure the milk (in my case) is completely removed from the nozzle, but it deserves more like 4 7/8 stars, not 4. Now listen...the nozzle comes apart! Not only does it unscrew from the container but the nozzle itself separates into 2 pieces! Cleaning it isn't rocket science. When it comes to milk though I would recommend a little brush to get every nook and cranny...and rinse it out when you are done using it. If you do that and don't let it sit it's really easy to clean. With that said, I Love this thing! I use it primarily to make hot chocolate (not cocoa) with the shaved chocolate and milk, but you can make whatever you can dream up. Whatever you put in there it heats and mixes up for you. When you are ready for a mug full just press another button and it froths it, so you can have it frothed or not. And you press the button as long as you want, so you decide how frothed it is. Turn the button off and depress the button on the nozzle and you have a steaming mug of whatever. It makes about 2 big mug fulls at a time, so if you don't use it all it will even keep it warm for you and stir occasionally to keep things from settling. It doesn't take up very much space on the counter either. I keep mine out all winter and actually swap it with the blender which I use in the warmer months for smoothies. It's a great little gadget that does even more than I thought it would. It really is quite a value considering how much it can do, and do well. I liked mine so much that I purchased one for a friend of mine as a gift last Christmas. She's an out-of-the-envelope cocoa drinker but she loves hers. Even if all she has to do it boil some water to make hers, that does not give her a froth or keep an extra mug warm for her. Plus she has starting mixing hers with milk instead of water now that she has this little machine.

We run a horse boarding stable, and the horses needed care no matter what the temperature is. And our employees need to keep warm while working. To make hot cocoa, they have tried heating water in the microwave or bringing a kettle of hot water from a nearby house. We needed something more practical that would make several servings at once. We LOVE this! It makes excellent hot cocoa every time...just what we need to warm us up on those cold winter mornings. I'll be ordering another one for our home kitchen.
