The candles themselves are o.k. I don't care for the orange bulbs but for now they will do. I have ordered 12 of the white bulbs twice and have received them both times only to find not one of them worked. What a disappointment!!!!

I love these. I have them in all the upstairs windows. They turn on and off by them selves. Yeah! They are a bit light weight, but that sure doesn't show from the road. I love seeing the lights when I drive in the drive. I am planning on getting more for the downstairs windows. No more cords. I love that!

I should start by saying that I am a discriminate person who does almost all of her shopping online. I looked at every single window candle available and these were by far the best looking. The timer feature is fabulous as I have 16 of these candles in every window. We have double hung windows with blinds, so I have these situated between the inner window and the storm. THey are made well, have bulbs that don't burn out or get hot and I don't have to worry about cords. They are a little bit on the light side as far as weight, but that's not a problem for me. I love them so much (this is the second year I have them up) that I am buying some for my parents for christmas. Buy with confidence!

I used these lights last Christmas for our windows, then kept out four for night lights, the batteries lasted over 6 months before I shut them off for the rest of the year. I love that there are no cords dangling every where, no glass bulbs to break. Nice they are on timers, you can set them and forget. They do not get hot. Make great bathroom night lights also. They are not as bright as the plug in kind if you are looking for your house to really light up from outside. They are light weight plastic, but still look nice. I purchased bronze, and will purchase more this year.

I bought these candles and couldn't wait for their arrival. I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw that they were made of plastic. I was even more disappointed that the bulbs were orange. Every time I drive up to my home and see them I am disappointed :-( My Christmas lights are white and then orange lights in windows. I've been debating on whether to buy the white replacement bulbs or just return them all together. I'm going to package them up and send them back. I'll find something else somewhere.

Ordered for front windows on our house for holidays. We used white lights on bushes and trees outside, and thought these candles would compliment them. Unfortunately, they look orange, especially against the white lights. Very Halloween/haunted house, but not for Christmas, as I had hoped.

On top of this, 6 of the 12 I purchased did not turn off after 8 hours. They stayed on all night long. Huge disappointment.

The candles and the base are plastic and look pretty cheap. That was not mentioned in the product description. The lights are fairly dim but you can spend more to get a brighter white light. I purchased 12 based on the appearance on the website and really wished I didn't. I expected more for the price. I have seen the same candles at[...] for a lower price. I purchased 16 window candles for Christmas. The candles are lightweight plastic and throw very little light. The description did not indicate they candles were plastic. Additionally, you hardly notice the light in the windows. I ordered close to Christmas and kept them but I'm sorry I didn't return them.

Displayed them from Thanksgiving until end of March and the timers worked perfectly every single night. Batteries lasted about 4 months. Very classic looking and finally a cordless candle that gave off a nice bright light.

I actually purchased these candles by mistake...I had previously purchased the sensor candles a couple of years ago and I love them so I bought these, thinking they were the same, to go in the rest of my windows and I really was very disappointed in them. You have to find just the right spot to make them work and at times it was quite frustrating. The sensor ones are more carefree. Would actually like to exchange these for the sensor ones is possible....

These window candles weren't quite what I expected, but ended up doing a great job. With small(ish) window frames, two small children and an older house, I was tired of plugging in our window candles to timers, running extension cords everywhere and then having to clean up the broken glass whenever one got knocked or pulled down by an overzealous child. These candles are a great height, don't get hot, have a silent interior timer that is easy to set, and won't break! The downside is that the entire candle unit is plastic, so it doesn't have much of a high end look (but since they're mostly seen from outside, who cares?), the light is more orange than yellow or white (I decided it looked just fine with our traditional house, but it took some getting used to), and the timers reset too easily - just a light bump from the kids would reset the timer (at least it was easy to fix, too!). They are battery powered, which for us, meant a lot of batteries (and not the "greenest" option), but they lasted all season. We are able to take advantage of battery recycling, instead of throwing them in the trash, so it was a compromise. All in all, I'm looking forward to the easy set up again this year -what I used to loathe is now the quickest and easiest part of our holiday decorating!

All this candle needs is more weight. I was not aware the candle was made of light-weight plastic. I love the way it operates with the timer, and no solar power needed either. I did send mine back, simply because of the lack of weight to hold it down. (I bought mine for window sills.) Great concept!

I purchased these candles for Christmas but have enjoyed the soft glow so much I still have them in my windows 5 months later. I like that I do not have to worry about cords and remembering to turn them on and off. The appearance is fine as long as you don't get too close, then they really look plastic.

The candles have been in our windows since early December (almost six months). The lights turn on every day and I have yet to replace the batteries. This is much better performance than I expected.
The only thing that I would improve is the weight. If they were heavier, then maybe my cats would not knock them over.

Forget about using these in windows, they don't put out enough light. You can't see them from five feet away. The build quality is poor, the materials are trashy (everything is plastic). Don't buy these, you'll just throw them away.

I bought these candles for our windows at Christmas. Unfortunately, the lights were very orange and quite dim - far from natural looking. They were supposed to turn on and off by themselves at the same time everyday but only did so occasionally. Often they wouldn't turn on without taking out and screwing in the bulb again. This is a poor quality product and not worth the money. I wish I had returned them.

The cordless lights were attractive but didn't perform for my use. I ordered 10 of the lights to use in my exterior front windows. I have very large windows and the cordless lights just didn't put out enough light. I also believe the yellow (like a flame) verses clear output may have played a part in the lights not being bright enough. The cordless lights would be great for inside on a mantle or on the table. I did return all the lights just because they were not what I was looking for.

I ordered these at the end of the season, but kept two out to use as decoration/night lights. I am surprised at how long the battery life is with these candles. They are both still glowing in late May and I haven't changed the batteries since January. The timers work great and the lights still come on like clockwork. The only minus is that they are light-weight and if the candles are knocked over, the light may come on. Once this happens, you have to reset the timer.

I used the candle in each of my windows. If you even brushed the bulb (as the cleaning lady does) , the light would shut off. Then you need to wait until dark to turn the bulb so it will reset.I wish there had been an ON/Off switch.
The glow of the bulb is a pale yellow and lacks pizzaz. IT does not look special when you look at it from outside.The candlestick is also very light weight and knocks over easily.
