Love this lamp; very sturdy and nice-looking. My only issue was with the 13W CFL bulb included. It gives off only very dim light. The description on this site says it can take a regular 100W bulb. I called the manufacturer to be sure, and they said that since it's an energy-efficient fixture you MUST use the 13W CFL. Using even a 60W regular bulb is too high of wattage. To get brighter light, they said to get the CFL bulb called "daylight" or "cool whilte."

I love it! It is a great addition to my back porch. I was very pleased when the day after I installed it we got a rain and wind storm and it did not blow over. I would give it five stars but there is a slight flaw on the shade but not worth sending back.

The lamps are a perfect complement to our wicker resin porch furniture. They are pretty and especially stable and weighted adequately to endure the outdoors. We were not actively looking to replace our previous lighting, but when we saw them in the catalogue, we knew they were a perfect replacement. We are very happy with our choice.

Presence of defective part made assembly impossible and therefore the unit was useless. Recently bought entire room of wicker furniture, [*], and every piece was defective in some manner and had to be returned. This appears to be the norm for products [*] --- even those of supposedly higher quality.

I use the lamps on my screened porch behind my gliders for seated reading at night. They provide just the right amount of light for reading (I have the white shade) yet they are not too bright for the overall lighting/atmosphere of the porch. The base is heavy enough to prevent the lamp from tipping over.

A nice lamp for our screened porch. I don't know if it was exceptionally windy this summer, but the lamp did tip over fairly often. However, due to the design, the bulb and everything were fine.

This is a great lamp. I was worried that because of the light color, it would show a lot of outside dirt/pollen, etc. But I've had it on my screened porch for several months now and it somehow looks clean. It was very easy to assemble and looks great.

The lamp gives off a soft warm light. Not bright and overbearing. The only thing is that you have to remove the shade and the guard when changing the light bulb. The 3 pieces are hard to line up to screw on the final which hold the pieces together.

This floor lamp added the perfect touch to our outdoor seating area. Even with an energy saving "bug light" in it we are still able to use if for reading. Our patio cover sometimes leaks in strong storms and I was concerned that water would get in the light bulb socket. I didn't realize this lamp not only has a shield above where the light bulb is but the light bulb is also covered by a nice glass fixture, kind of like a huricane lamp. Out of an abundance of caution I still would not use it in wet conditions but I don't have to worry about the socket filling with water. The price was much less than other weather "resistant" lamps. Lampshade is attractive and appears durable. Lamp could easily be transformed into an indoor lamp especially if you changed to a fabric lampshade. Would definitely buy again.

Disappointing The catalog says up to 100 watt bulb but that is NOT what the enlcosed material says- this is a very dim lamp Cannot read by it And it tilts !! really disappointed Too much energy to send it back but disappointed.

This item is very attractive and will be easy to clean. The shade can be rinsed with water. It provides just enough light for reading without taking up much space. This coordinates very well with wicker furniture. Assembly was easy.

I love sitting on my screened in porch in the evenings and reading. This lamp is perfect for reading when sitting close by or for ambiance lighting at a party.

I love the bronze color and this product can compare with others at twice or three times the price. I like to get a bargain, but also appreciate quality. I have checked out other "ritzy" catalogs.

It took a little while to get all the pieces screwed in correctly, but it is sturdy and weather resistant.

I carefully read the reviews of this lamp, and all were right on the mark. The lamp is quite heavy, the all weather wicker shade is thick and tightly woven, and the finish is high quality. The brown metal is similar to a very dark, smooth oil-rubbed bronze color. I'm extremely pleased with the lamp. We used it indoors all winter and just moved it outside now that the weather is nice.

All of the catalog descriptions are on target. It has proven to be exactly what we had hoped for & needed in our screened-in porch. We use them year-round . We have found nothing that isn't great. Highly recommended.

While the lamp looks good and is sturdy, which is important for a screened in porch, the amount of light it puts forth is very limited. Perhaps it's because we chose the brown lamp and the shade is dark, but it hardly sheds any light - the main reason why we purchased the lamp.
