Heavy Duty Cover
Comments about Product:
Very nice large heavy duty cover for our round table and 5 chairs. The pole for the center is nice to help direct water off the cover. Very water repellant. Liked it so much bought one for the air conditioner.

Excellent Product
Comments about Product:
Very well made product. Grommets make it possible to secure the edges down with bungees in our windy area. (We replaced the supplied bungees with stronger ones.) Only disappointment is that the beautiful green color faded on the more exposed surfaces. The service was excellent.

Furniture cover that really covers
Comments about Product:
This x-large cover really covers the table and chairs generously. The fabric is heavy enough that it stays put even in the wind. The center pole allows rain and snow to "fall" off rather than pool on the table top.

Exactly what I wanted. Fits perfectly.
Comments about Product:
I have ordered several different covers for my patio and porch furniture. Never been disappointed. Great quality and always fits as described. The product is also extremely durable and withstands all weather conditions during the winter. I am very happy with all purchases.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Comments about Product:
The picnic table is wooden with 4 attached benches. The cover was perfect to keep it dry over the winter. It has a drawstring that I didn't use - not substantial enough and used a heavier line to pull the bottom together. Still- exactly what I was looking for.

more than enough room to cover 5 chairs and 50" table and still go to the bottom of the chairs

Not the best.
Comments about Product:
There are not enough ties to keep the cover down in the wind. We also can't keep the middle pole in place, and are constantly running out to fix it.

Good product
Comments about Product:
This is a great product for a large round table and chairs. You don't need separate chair covers with this cover. The only thing that baffles me a little is why covers are so expensive. It's not just this site, it's everywhere, and this site is competitive in prices so I would recommend purchasing here. Shipping was very prompt.

Comments about Product:
I was not able to tighten the cover around the chairs to prevent the wind from picking up the cover, since the chairs are light ( Telescope Patio chairs). The center post that is supposed to lift the cover over the table to form the peak of the tent collapses at the lightest wind creating a real mess. Also, even with the center post in place, water collects between the table and chairs creating deep valleys where the water will stagnate and is guaranteed to ruin the product and possibly the furniture it is supposed to protect. What seems like a good idea is not always so. This was money down the drain

Top Quality!
Comments about Product:
We've had other patio furniture covers and they don't compare to these. We are extremely happy with them. High winds and snow didn't seem to effect the covers at all. They stayed in place and look like new. We love the grommets but ended up using our own longer chords on the large table and chairs cover.

The Olla: A Brief History

Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.

When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.

The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.

Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!

How it Works:

Water is pulled directly through the terra-cotta!
